Lovely relaxing way to experience the canal with a very knowledgeable guide. Cameron was excellent.

We really enjoyed this boat trip down the Rideau Canal. Our guide was fantastic, he was so engaging and after half an hour of commentary, he sat with each group individually to chat to them. Unfortunately I don’t know his name! It’s very pretty on the canal and well worth a trip.

We enjoyed the trip down the river, the guide was engaging and it was interesting to see Ottawa from the water.

Long steep hike in and out to/ from boat. Older and less fit persons could have problems. Clean boat, restrooms and snack bar. Human narrative in English and French. Very good

More info on parking. We ran late because thete was no place to park near the designated area that was marked parking.

It was a great experience for someone visiting Ottawa for the first time. Lots of fun, lots of knowledge shared with us by the caption and his companion. I recommend!

We booked this trip for our trip to Canada & we travelled to Petrie Island Park from downtown Ottawa by bus it wasn’t any hassle , although the weather wasn’t the best we still had a great time kayaking around the lake , the owner of the business is really helpful & knowledgeable we saw plenty of wildlife & overall had a fab time

Beautiful trip down the river, delicious drinks, tour guide was very informative and staff of the boat were very friendly and accommodating.

Just to let you know we enjoyed our walking tour with Heidi yesterday. She is very knowledgeable and delivered a comprehensive tour of Ottawa’s historical background, its culture and how it developed to the vibrant place it is today Irene

The tour is well organized. Upon arriving at the parking area, there is the guide who will give you all the information during the trip.

Perfect food tour to learn about the area around the Byward Market. Great pizza at Grand, Tacos with hot sauce in the market, Tea of choice at the Teastore, pictures at the Ottawa sign, gelato and of course a Beaver Tail with lemon juice, instead of cinnamon sugar. All so good!! Our guide on September 1 was charming.

We experienced a private walking tour on Sept 5 with Chris and were blown away with all his historical knowledge on Canadian history, and on Ottawa. Really amazing!! He has a wonderful gift for sharing this knowledge with his guests, so the two hours flew by. I would recommend that anyone spending a few days in Ottawa book a tour with Ottawa Walking Tours—and if you want to ensure an informative two hours where you also get to see plenty of the area, ask for Chris! Fun environment & venue! Very friendly & engaging staff & performers! Their singing, dance, & comedic talents were extraordinary for a dinner show; way beyond what we hoped for! Their talents are at the level we see when attending large scale musicals. We left smiling & feeling energized & full! The dinner was awesome & held a wide variety & drink prices were reasonable.
