Well run, great communication and very flexible with bookings. Our tour was changed from Amadee Is. to Signal Is. due to renovation work at Amadee.... it was a terrific day!! I don't know if Amadee is any better/ different. The water taxi ride was good...a little rough in patches but I guess that's what you expect on the open seas! (Maybe some more padding on the seats would be good! My back really ached afterwards from impacts on the seat!!!) THE TURTLES DID NOT DISAPPOINT!! 🐢 🐢 There were plenty!!! 🐢 🐢 The coral reef was gorgeous! So many fish 🐟 🐠 🎣🐡 🍥 among the turtles!!! The water was really cold at first.. but okay after a while of persevering and braving it!!! 3 hours on the actual island/snorkle time was a little long for me.. but I was solo (sick wing man!) I know it would have been a lot of fun with a group of friends or family. The "long drop" toilets were very clean and exceptionally well maintained... except THERE WAS NO LOO PAPER!! 🥹. Fortunately I had tissues in my pack!!... TAKE TISSUES OR PAPER WITH YOU!!! There were bbq tables and fire pits if you were organised enough to take food to cook!!! There was no food/drinks on island or tour, so make sure you pack snacks and plenty of water!!! Well worth the trip... such a pretty little island wth great marine life to see!!!!

We had an absolutely fantastic day at Signal Island! Our family of 10 visited while in Nouméa, and it was easily one of the highlights of our trip.The boat taxi service was excellent. They were right on time, and the trip across to the island felt very safe, comfortable and well organised. The boat ride itself was really enjoyable and was a great way to start and finish the day, especially travelling with a large family group.Signal Island itself is absolutely beautiful — crystal-clear water, gorgeous beaches and such a peaceful, relaxed atmosphere. It was the perfect place to spend the day swimming, snorkelling and enjoying time together as a family.The snorkelling was a real highlight, with beautiful clear water and plenty to see. With a family of 10, it can sometimes be hard to find something everyone enjoys, but Signal Island was a winner for all of us.If you’re visiting Nouméa, we highly recommend Signal Island and the boat taxi trip across. Beautiful scenery, amazing water, a safe and enjoyable boat ride and an unforgettable family experience.

Florence was a great tour guide for us and when I made a mistake with our pick up the company was fantastic is helping us too. We learnt a bit, enjoyed a bit, got recommendations for food and drink!! Just a lovely way to get oriented around Noumea at the start of our trip.

The tour exceeded expectations. Our guide was prompt courteous informative and friendly.

A very helpful driver with a new van. My wife had hip complaints and sat in the front passenger seat alongside the driver. All verynice and helped us with our baggage into the hotel. We are older people so this was a real help.

We arrived in Nouméa on a cruise. The Lyvai staff were easy to locate and very friendly and helpful. My sons and I jumped on the hop on hop off bus and enjoyed all the stops. The aquarium is beautiful and well set out. We spent around 40 minutes there before hopping back on the bus and heading to Lemon Bay for ice cream at the frozen yogurt shop and a swim. The bus was very regular, around every 20 minutes so we were never left standing at the stop for very long. Highly recommend Lyvia and we will use them again on our next visit.

Start with the negative. Should have been a disclosure about snakes on the island.Overall for the price full 8-hour tour perfect location. Great place for a swim suntan the lunch that was included was spectacular caters for all food requirements. Can hire snorkeling equipment when. Glass bottom boat was a very good experience. Reef is very stunning to go snorkeling around. Just keep in mind of time if you need to reapply sunscreen and make sure it is safe for the reef biodegradable

There's a reason this excursion gets such great reviews. Sure, it is pricey but it is so well run with so much included . It ticks many boxes for great experiences in Nouméa: boat ride, glass bottom boat , amazing lunch food with French wine, beautiful beach, entertainment.....the list goes on. We elected to add on lighthouse visit and hire of snorkels/masks. The MaryD staff were all so friendly and professional. 5 stars..

Prompt and efficient airport transfer service. Picked up from hotel, friendly driver. No problems at all.

We bought this for the hop on shuttle but the aquarium was a revelation! It is a little gem. Do not be tempted to miss it. The exhibits focus on the local reef life. If you are snorkeling on your trip, and you should, this place will educate you and fill in the the things you may miss. Be sure to go out into the garden area where there are stunning views of the island and an amazing sea turtle tank. As a bonus, shop at the well curated museum shop and support their work.

Teresa was a terrific tour guide for the French Touch tour of Noumea. Her vehicle was spacious and comfortable and she is a careful and attentive driver. She delivered every item on the itinerary, with appropriate modifications to accommodate my son, who is a full-time wheelchair user. We started with a visit to the market. It was great to see all of the fresh fruits and veggies, including the biggest grapefruits I have ever seen! The fish market had a big variety of fresh seafood. There is also a section of the market to buy clothes and souvenirs. Teresa speaks excellent English so was invaluable serving as a translator for us. We spent lots of time exploring the Tjibaou Cultural Center - lots and lots of beautiful artwork. We also toured a bit of the grounds to see traditional homes and gathering spaces for the people of New Caledonia. And the architecture of the Cultural Center is astounding and not to be missed. Then it was time for lunch - when you are in France you must eat at a French restaurant and Marmite et Tire-Bouchon was exceptional. What a treat it was to eat such delicious food outside by the water! We then traveled a short way to Lemon Bay, where an accessible mat takes wheelchair users through the sandy beach and right into the water - fantastic! We had just a short time left to spend at the zoo park, high above the city. In the afternoon there are no crowds so it was a great time to see and especially listen to the birds. All in all a great day in a beautiful place with an excellent guide! Thank you Teresa!!

This went very smoothly. The driver Yuma was waiting with a card with our name at the airport and transported us to our hotel. He was very friendly and helpful and wrote down some resturants and sights to see for us while we were here.

Very easy pick up and drop off. Professional and friendly service. Cost effective. Would highly recommend!

I have just completed the Albatross tour "Italy, The deep south and Sicily". A special thanks to our fantastic guide Helen, whose knowledge, fierce protection of us all, especially on crossings and pushy people and her enthusiasm, which brought each place alive before we arrived, was exemplary. Our bus driver, who I had on the previous tour, Enver, navigated windy roads and fitted the bus into places by a hair's breadth; never ceased to amaze me. He was a kind and considerate man to our needs. Their warmth and professionalism made my trip seamless. The itinerary was well planned. We experienced incredible, stunning scenery, delicious food, and so much rich history that you thought could not get any better, but it did. The hilltop towns, the beauty of the coast and the charming villages all enriched the experience. This was my third Albatross tour, and I cannot speak more highly of them. We had 19 on this tour. It was a great number with wonderful companions. I have done two other tours which backed onto this tour. One the, Etruscans with Prisca and Enver, and then the Italian Grande with Christina and Paula. All amazing guides and bus drivers, and tour highlights. Worth every cent!

Driver was on time and very professional. We arrived at the airport in plenty of time for the flight.

Nice place for a quiet walk. Map provided. Price includes round trip transportation and entry ticket. Much less expensive than cruise ship excursion.
