Nice trip before the Nor’easter on Sept 25, 2026

Birding by Boat is awesome as usual. I attended with my 9-year-old son, who is into birding, during Fall migration season in Cape May. The guides for our trip have obviously been doing this for a very long time so they know everything about the birds, the habitats, the history, of the area. They were also highly personable, entertaining, and welcoming in addition to being knowledgeable. The boat itself is pretty basic -- a somewhat small space, a basic restroom, and windows that could use ac lean, but the experience is excellent. Even during windy days ("Gale Force Winds" warning from my phone) the trip was stable and smooth, and my son did not have any issues with sea sickness though we did take a Dramamine beforehand. Since the trip is in the back bay, and not the open ocean, that helped with keeping the boat much steadier and in calmer waters. Experience was great for the 1st time going out to see dolphins, The Captain was great and knowledgeable of the tour, bartender was great😁.

This was out third trip with them. The crew is wonderful & you're guaranteed to see dolphins or you receive a credit. We have seen dolphin on every trip. I highly recommend this group!

Dolphin watching was a sweet diversion from the casinos! We saw many dolphins and the tour guide was full of information... really enjoyed ourselves.

This is a great way to get out on the water, see dolphins, and get a history of the area. I really liked the horseshoe crab demonstration too as I am a birder and know how very important they are

Fun and challenging experience which I shared with my family. We have solved three rooms so far. Can't wait to do another.

They were very knowledgeable and tailored the trip to the passengers. I enjoyed it and saw new birds. I wish there was more time to buy their souvenirs before the trip. I would go again on this cruise as I think it would be different in different seasons.

Jim is amazing. Takes you to a lot of cool spots you would miss otherwise. We thoroughly enjoyed this tour!

I had so much fun! This was my first escape room and I loved that we had the clue option when we got stuck on something. The staff were very friendly too

A great way to spend an evening outdoors in the Asbury Park area. We were led by a guide with a lantern and were entertained by his stories.

This is a small place, but the staff's are really friendly and go above and beyond to make the best experience.

What a great experience this was. Learned that they do research for marine mammals & monitor them. Very informative & seeing the dolphins & then a hump back whale was fantastic. We were a group of 5 ladies in our 60’s/72 & we all said it was beyond our expectations. Would do it again 😃🐬🐋🙏🏼

Trouble maneuvering between chats and viewing the map. Had to exit and reenter several times. Would have been nice if map was accessible without having to log on to a link. Having every stop be a restaurant or pub would have been nice.

What a great experience with our grandchildren! They loved planning our next mission, what we would do and being the photographer!! Lots of fun & laughs! Host was wonderfully encouraging of kids! People of Cape May were welcoming & helpful! This is great fun!
