Lamego 2026 Calendar of Events

We had the best day with Ruben in Douro Valley. It began with a timely and hilarious pick-up from Porto to the beautiful valley (about 1-1.5 hrs). Ruben was sure to entertain us and make us laugh the entire time. Here we truly got to know our group and had a fabulous vibe going on. The first winery we went to, Quinta de Santa Eufemia, was beautiful and delicious. Our tour guide as well as wine host was spectacular. Then, we went to an olive oil tasting after which was amazing! And came with the history and knowledge of "fire water" which is something of the locals in the area. We then went to a final estate where a homecooked meal was prepared - you could tell there was a lot of Portuguese pride in these meals and pairings. We ended here with the opportunity to stomp on grapes! Finally, we wrapped up with a ride down the river on a beautiful wooden boat.Overall, Ruben made the experience so fun, great, and unforgettable. We will be recommending Bambuti to all friends and family coming here!

The highlight of our trip so far! Wonderful day and unforgettable experiences by a truly local guide. Rodrigo was friendly, punctual, informative, kind, engaging and SO fun! We learned so much and laughed so hard all day. 10 out of 10. Btw, he didn’t not even ask for a review. I’d assume most of their reviews are unsolicited, which says a lot

They served us with all the time smiling from the picking up time of 9:15AM till 6:30 PM. Two family Quinta visits were the perfect selections. They even served us for tasting of 50 years white Porto. They waited for us until we finish our very long talk about history of Porto with a winery host. The lunch was with full of the local foods with wine. The one hour ride of a boat and to visit of two observation points were perfect. We loved Andreia and Valdemar. Thank you very much.

Andreia and her husband were truly unforgettable This was a great tour. Going to small winery and hearing there stories bought more understanding about the valley and their struggles.

An unforgettable day in the Douro! Bruno put together a private, all-day wine tour that was beautiful from start to finish.Every stop felt thoughtfully chosen. Inez at Quinta Foz was an absolute highlight: warm, knowledgeable, and so generous with her time. Lunch at Sandeman was phenomenal, with incredible food and views to match. And the olive oil tasting at Dois Lagares was unreal. We’re still talking about it.To cap it all off, the boat ride on the river at the end of the day was truly special, the perfect way to take in the valley and let the whole day sink in.Bruno handled every detail so seamlessly that all we had to do was enjoy. End to end, a really beautiful experience and easily one of the best days of our trip. If you’re heading to the Douro, book with Bruno!

Andrea is an incredible host with so much local knowledge! We visited 3 unique wineries that all had their own charm with tasty wine, which kept the day interesting. We also loved how we were able to stop at iconic viewpoints and not feel rushed about it, it was an added bonus to the wineries. Andrea and her husband are the nicest people and I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the Douro Valley.

Absolutely amazing views! If you have time make sure to walk the vineyard area. Patricia was a great host!

The wine was great and paired nicely with all the snacks. The view was absolutely amazing! Elizabeth went out of her way to make us feel comfortable and ensured we were enjoying ourselves. 10/10 recommend

Simply the best experience! We enjoyed 3 excellent winery tours along with a very knowledgeable explanation of the wine and port making process and history of the Douro Valley. We have experienced many wine tours over the years, but none as lovely as this. Highly recommended.

I highly recommend Douro Feeling tour company! They planned a perfect itinerary for our small group of three who wanted a more personal experience. We were picked up right on time at our doorstep in a Mercedes van. Our tour guide and driver Bruno was kind, professional and highly attentive to us as we went to each location. We also upgraded to a private boat ride around the river, which was so beautiful and peaceful. This experience was worth the cost and we would definitely do it again.

Do it without hesitation!!! A beautiful estate, a quality private tour, and a very interesting tasting.

The host Patrícia, received us very well, very professional in the presentation of the wines to taste, and in the explanations of how they are produced.

Bruno was an amazing tour guide. Extremely knowledgeable and entertaining. We had 2 Days of tours with Bruno and One of our best tours while in Portugal was with him. The Douro Valley tour was beyond our expectations. Highly recommend Bruno.

Our Highlights of the Douro Valley tour exceeded expectations. Bruno was an excellent host and provided fascinating background regarding the areas visited. The wine tastings at a small, family run winery and one larger winery were both educational and fun. Lunch at a local restaurant was a highlight. Bruno went the extra mile helping us plan our next day in Porto, and went out of his way to return an item left behind in his car to our hotel. I highly recommend booking with Bruno and I look forward to working with Bruno again when I return to Portugal.

A highly memorable experience in the Douro Valley from start to finish. We were warmly welcomed by Ana, followed by a relaxed and beautiful walk around the Pacheca estate. Then came the truly magical moment at the table, with outstanding gastronomy and wines. Everything was very informative, deeply local, yet still elegant and refined. Highly recommended!

Bruno was a wonderful Guide he was very informative, interesting and personable . We enjoyed his insights and his sharing of his family history of growing up in the area. He is definitely the right Guide for a tour of the Douro Valley. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with him.
