An all-around beautiful experience for exploring La Gomera.If you arrive on time, the tour guide, who can speak English extremely well, will greet you and instruct you on the boat.You will also receive a recommendation on where to go depending on the weather conditions.With the inflatable boat, under constant travel, you can make it from the port in Santiago to Valle Gran Rey.Theoretically, you can dock there during your rental period to do things there (eat/drink). However, whether you want to do that during your rental period is something everyone has to decide for themselves.In that case, the boat is very nice to drive, agile, and has an anchor and everything to be able to go snorkeling and take photos.The "canopy" was also super pleasant, provided the sun was in the right position.We had booked 5 hours, which was very pleasant for being able to see everything comfortably. We wouldn't have needed it for any longer.Whether you want 8 or 3 depends on personal preference regarding how much time you want to have and what you plan to do.It was definitely a lot of fun, despite or perhaps precisely because of the strong swell that developed during the rental period.If you don't have them, take towels, sunscreen, and snorkeling gear as well as a change of clothes with you and pack your valuable items in a waterproof bag. Then you are on the safe side.

Juan knows his forest. Which he also affectionately calls his office. It was an exciting and educational tour through the rainforest. Juan was an attentive and entertaining tour guide who personally knows every single tree in the national park😀. From my point of view, you need to be good on your feet. There is a lot of uphill and downhill walking. The paths are somewhat uneven in places.

We joined this tour on the third day of our stay in Tenerife, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip.Victor, our guide, picked us up in the morning, and our first destination was the northern part of the island, the Anaga region. There, we enjoyed a beautiful hike through a fairy-tale-like green forest. I would recommend bringing a windbreaker and a pair of sneakers you don't mind getting a little dirty.Afterwards, we headed towards Teide National Park, making several stops along the way to admire the stunning views. It felt as though we had travelled to another planet in just half an hour, walking above a sea of white clouds that looked like the frothy milk on your morning cappuccino. Unfortunately, access to the park itself was closed due to roadworks, but we were still able to enjoy breathtaking mountain views and almost Martian landscapes from several viewpoints. Sunscreen and a cap are definitely recommended, as the sun at 2,000 metres above sea level is no joke.Following the hike, we stopped at a lovely local restaurant recommended by Victor and enjoyed some delicious food. The day was packed with memorable experiences and beautiful scenery. Victor took great care of us throughout the tour and shared many interesting facts about the island's nature, climate, local life, and some of his favourite places.After the tour, he even sent us a list of recommendations for restaurants and beaches, which we used during the rest of our stay on the island and were very happy with.I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who enjoys hiking and spectacular landscapes and wants to experience the diverse and ever-changing spirit of Tenerife.

The experience was amazing! We couldn't imagine a forest like that. The guide Juan, excellent, discovered all the beauty of the Garajonay and so we could observe details that would otherwise go unnoticed . You can tell he loves the island! We only missed sighting dinosaurs!!

Despite the predicted storm, we had a wonderful day. Communication was excellent, and Victor picked us up near the cruise terminal. We learned a lot about the island, visited places like Icod and Garachico, and Victor drove us safely along the winding roads to Masca. The day was tailored exactly to our wishes.

Small but beautifully thought out open air museum and garden. Lots to explore about the history and culture of La Gomera. Great wee cafe attached and full scale restaurant upstairs. Almond cake to die for.

As a mom traveling with my daughter, I was looking for the best combo to visit in peace the most beautiful sites available to us on the island, while being sure to make real hikes, without the worries of logistics. And Victor was the perfect choice: exchanges by WA before D-Day to be sure to offer us the best route, adaptability to the weather, desire to share and knowledge of the place. We spent an extraordinary day with someone who loves what he does and has a lot of generosity. And bonus pro photos. I recommend without hesitation.

This ethnographic museum is a must to know the history of La Gomera. It is a space that brings us closer to the agricultural and livestock past of its people. 100% recommended.

Today was our much anticipated palm leaf basket weaving course in Valle Gran Rey and it didn’t disappoint. Run by the lovely Zdenka, a Czech now living a sustainable life on this lovely island, she took our wee group on a walk during which she told us about the different plants we were seeing and then we got down to the main activity of the day - basket weaving. Once we’d made the base of our baskets we stopped for a fab lunch made mainly from her own produce and then we wove the rest of our baskets. Considering we all started the same way, it’s amazing to see all the completely different finished baskets.

We spent a day with Zdenka on a basket making workshop using brooms from the local Gomeran palm trees. Zdenka told us about the trees and then we collected brooms for making the baskets. Looking at one of Zdenka's amazing baskets I couldn't believe that we could make such a thing in one day but Zdenka is very clear with her instructions and excellent demonstrations that we all went home with a completed basket. A great day and highly recommended.

The show was great, it is worth every cent for it. You can see and hear the sound of swords fight. Amazing choreography. Overall, you should go and see that!
