Went for the tree top walk which is nice. We would have liked to see more birds. Zipline was 2 minutes of fun. We felt very safe, highly recommended

We had Kate as our guide and she was legit the best! Such an amazing vibrant bubbly host who had exceptional knowledge- cannot recommend this tour enough!

Cannot speak highly enough about our guide Linda. Her knowledge of not only the sites we visited but NZ in general was exceptional. The Tour had a great mixture of visiting tourist venues, driving time and relaxing time to enjoy each venue. We would definitely recommend anyone to do the tour which included Brunner Mine and Pancake Rock. Thanks very much Explore West Coast Tour - a 10 out of 10.

We thoroughly enjoyed this tour and would highly recommend it to others. Our guide, Linda, was wonderful and literally thought of not only everything to see to make the tour enjoyable and special, but she also had additional items on hand that we might need due to some inclement weather. 10/10.

Whole experience was great from beginning to end, the staff were friendly, helpful and couldn’t do more. The zip line was great and the cafe and whole area was pristine. Cafe staff were happy and cheerful. Would definitely recommend

Our guide Linda was fantastic. Very knowledgeable about everything from the history and geography of the area, to details of the trees and plants we saw along the way. Very gracious host taking care of every detail without hesitation! Views were spectacular and it was hard to capture the majesty and beauty of it all with a camera. The setting sun made for some amazing shadows and layering on the pancake rocks. The crashing waves and the thunderous pounding in the deep chasms required some vid/aud as well...if you don't believe in our creator God you will after this trip -awesome!

We had a wonderful day out enjoying the sights and tastes of the West Coast. Our tour guide Jackie was really knowlegable and a real character. It was a full day crammed with some stunning scenery, wildlife food and drink and a great craic!

It was splendid. The best of the West coast was included. The gorge was lovely though it rained and we preferred to go only half way upto a bridge on Hokitika river. The tour guide Linda was so good as to allow us a deviation at the railway station for a while as some time was saved not completing the gorge. She was helpful in accompanying us to the treetop walk and the entire circle around the punakaiki rocks. She also arranged for a lovely meal and the evening high tea. She was very informative and took pains to tell us everything about the geography in detail. She was superb at her work andxexuded dedication and sincerity.

We completed this activity with my mother (86 years old). We all loved the gentle walk through the wood with descriptions of trees and also the suspended walkways above the tree canopy. The final steps up the spiral staircase to the zipwire platform were easily manageable and all safety instructions clear. With double and triple checks of equipment we all felt safe and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. A great cafe there too!

It was an amazing trip encompasses many stopover for lookout and photo-taking. The guide Martin did an excellent job in taking care of our lunch and he is very knowledgeable in the history of the places. First class service ensured.

A must-see, do, eat and drink experience in Greymouth! A huge shout-out to Andrew (aka "Chicken"), an absolute legend of the brewery with over 20 years of experience. He was so down-to-earth and genuinely passionate about Monteith's, which made the tour both entertaining and informative. He even went the extra mile by putting the fire on for us before dinner, which was a thoughtful touch and very much appreciated. It's those little things that make the experience special. The Monteith's Kiwi street sign magnets are a fantastic marketing idea too—we couldn't resist grabbing one! If you're in Greymouth, don't miss this place. Great tour, great food, great beer, and outstanding hospitality. Highly recommend!
