Gothenburg 2026 Calendar of Events

I was in lounge bar today and met Abi who was excellent and I like her welcome attitude like Anu in bar yesterday.

It was beautiful to see the city from the canal side.

Highly recommended if you are doing a self-guided tour but do not want to miss out on a few details!

This was a lovely little ride around on the train. We saw loads of interesting sites and took some great pictures and found a lovely little market we went back too.

Really fun little tour that takes you around all the interesting areas of the city so you quickly familiarise yourself with Gothenburg and its history. Friendly host/driver and would recommend to anyone looking for a quick and relaxed tour .

Relaxing way to discover the city

We enjoyed our tour with Marcus. Our first time to Gothenburg so Marcus was able to give us some history and also point out some restaurants and we also got to visit the Markets. We enjoyed the tour and it was well worth our time.

Fantastic connection to Landvetter directly from the northern riverbank, Lindholmen, Eriksberg etc. We always use the VY airport bus when we are going to or from Landvetter. Very nice staff and the cheapest transport to and from Landvetter. The buses have always been on time when we have traveled. Highly recommended!

My mom and I were traveling through the area on a cruise and decided booking a walking tour with a local guide would be the best use of our time. Magnus was fantastic! He reached out before our trip to confirm and set plans for meeting so we didn't waste any time searching for one another upon arrival.Magnus was delightful! Not only is he a wealth of historical information, he also had loads of facts as a former teacher and part of the city government.It was an absolutely beautiful day for a leisurely stroll through the city square, historical buildings, waterways, borders, and port/waterfront!My mom and I truly enjoyed our experience and are happy to sing the praises of Magnus.We ended up having lunch afterwards at the Fish Church at Magnus's suggestion.

When it comes to visiting another country, one thing I try to always do is maximise the public transportation, it’s part of the travelling experience I believe. Every country has their own way of doing it, and with Sweden, especially Flygbussarna it was very easy. The app was easy to download from the App Store, relatively fair price considering we were going from Gothenburg airport to Gothenburg C.Was very pleased with the service, driver was friendly and helpful.

This is a very good way to get to know a lot of Gothenburg in a short time. Kevin is such a knowledgeable and enthusiastic person and he was quick to tailor his stories to my situation (background and interests). Warmly recommend!

A fine car and a pleasant driver came to pick up from the hotel and the admission ticket came electronically as clearly was the expectation in the museum - very good service!

Very nice experience! Definitely recommended if you like sweet treats with a story. The host of the tour explains everything well and clearly. Getting to know Swedish culture in a very nice and friendly way through this tour.

Easy to locate the bus outside the terminal at Landvetter, fortunate the hotel I booked was metres from one of the stops. Frequent enough that if you miss one it’s not too bad of a wait. Return journey was painless too.
