A really wonderful afternoon spent with captain Lorenzo! He met my husband and I at the dock at exactly our designated time and was a very capable, knowledgeable and friendly guide. The boat was clean and comfortable. We had a blast exploring the coast, swimming and drinking prosecco - all while hearing the history, legends and folklore of each area. We highly recommend this tour and company - they were very user friendly and accommodated our needs for a last minute booking!

Make sure to wear pants or longer skirt as the Basilica won’t let you in without covering your legs and shoulders. Although they provide a type of paper cloth to cover shoulders if needed.Our driver/tour guide was super cool…definitely knew about the history of Genova and also passed on some suggestions for authentic local places to eat.Great way to navigate the caruggi’s.

I have been on numerous trips to vineyards around the world over the last 30 or so years but this visit was easily the best.We were joined by a lovely italian couple who graciously agreed to have Guido, our excellent host, to inform us in English which of course we appreciated.Guidos enthusiasm for his subject was infectious, conveying in an easy to understand way a lot of interesting information about the wine making process, as well as the nuances of the wines produced at this historic and well run vineyard.The wine tasting itself was hugely enjoyable, deepening my love and appreciation of the Cortese grape. Being a keen drinker of Gavi since thankfully being introduced to it by an italian business colleague some 25 years ago I left La Scolca respecting this grape considerably more.I look forward to drinking some day, on a special occassion, the excellent wine that I purchased afterwards, and reflecting on a wonderful visit to the excellent La Scolca !

An interesting ride along the alleys of Genoa. Ferdinanda shared a wealth of knowledge and her personal experiences exploring the narrow streets of Genoa.

This was a lot of fun and I enjoyed learning how to make pesto. My husband, who doesn’t know how to do anything in the kitchen, went with me, and he even loved it! The brother and sister who taught the class were very friendly and helpful. And then we got to eat it after they cooked pasta for us to put the pesto on. I would highly recommend this activity.

Our tour of Portofino and Santa Margherita Ligure with Polina was so much fun. We had a wonderful stop where we tried several different types of homemade focaccia, along with great coffee and gelato.Polina knew the best routes to walk, which helped us avoid some of the steeper climbs. She also gave us some excellent restaurant suggestions and helpful ideas for things to do when we were in Genoa.Polina had great energy and shared the history and stories of the area in such a relaxed, interesting way. It was such a fun day with someone who clearly knows the area so well and really enjoys sharing it with others. We had a great time and would absolutely recommend the tour.

Wonder experience. Learned so much about making pesto. Relaxing and pleasant. Enjoyed several samples of wine. Enjoyed eating the pesto sauce we made with authentic pasta. Truly a great experience if visiting Genoa.

This was an epic day! Our skipper was Manfredi and he was amazing! Beautiful views, great to explore Portofino and other villages. Swimming was the best! Don’t miss this tour!

We had a wonderful private half-day tour of Portofino and the surrounding area. Our guide was punctual , friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive throughout the entire tour. He knew the area extremely well and shared fascinating local insights that made the experience even more enjoyable.We also truly appreciated the nice assortment of food and drinks provided during the tour. Everything was thoughtfully arranged, adding a special and relaxing touch to the experience. The boat was comfortable with great shade.We felt safe and well taken care of from beginning to end, and the entire tour was seamless. We would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a personalized and enjoyable way to experience Portofino and the beautiful surrounding coastline!

Beautiful winery. Visiting La Scolca Winery is an experience I recommend to all wine enthusiasts. Superlative location. Excellent wines, a benchmark for Gavi. History and modernity that intertwine harmoniously. And a thank you to Guido who accompanied us on the tour in a comprehensive, helpful, and lighthearted manner, a true added value!

Polina was extremely knowledgeable on the best of Genova. She shared its rich history and culture. She was warm and friendly, accommodated all that we wanted to see, and do and answered many questions. We could not have asked for a better guide.

We had an excellent afternoon with Gabri. He was funny, personable, and knowledgeable. He made sure we were well looked after, saw all the best sites, and had ample time in the water. I can confidently recommend him to anyone looking for a lovely water tour of Portofino, or just a relaxing afternoon on the water.

Fabio was an excellent instructor! He was very personable and provided an extraordinary environment to taste and make some of Liguria’s most popular dishes!

It was great, our guide Polina was very knowledgable about the history of the cities. Even she came to pick us up from our hotel.

We had Michaela as an guide. She was super sweet, fun and smart! She told us a lot about leguria and Italy wich We though was very interesting since we are from sweden. The pesto was very good and it was fun to learn how to make it ourselfs. We had a pleseant experience.
