A wonderful experience immersing myself in Sri Lankan cuisine with Vasanta and her lesson. We were with my 11-year-old daughter. Vasanta taught us how to cook several types of curry, as well as how to make coconut milk, and showed the secrets of preparing aromatic and fluffy rice, and flatbreads.At the end, we had lunch with beautiful presentation. And as a souvenir gift, I have curry recipes.Thank you for such a wonderful and unforgettable experience! Since then, I only cook curry at home according to Vasant's recipes ❤️

If you are in the south of Sri Lanka and want to know about the history of Galle, Galle Fort, and the part that it played in influencing world history, via herbs and spices, then this is a tour that you shouldn't miss. The fully qualified guide has lived in the area since he was a small boy. He can tell you about the history of just about every building within the fort walls, not just the historic churches and Government buildings, but also the houses and hotels etc. I started the tour early to try and avoid the heat of the day, and the guide Yasiru was prepared to walk and stop when needed for several refreshment breaks around the town.

Honestly the best meal i had in sri lanka! Im glad i did this on my last day because it wouldve raised my expectations of all my other meals too high! Sasangi and her brother (?) Were fantastic and great at providing all the information i needed and suggesting swaps for ingredients not available in the uk. They sent me home happy and full and armed with leftovers and all the recipes, including ones we didnt cook. I cant wait to try them at home!

Really great way to spend a morning in Galle Fort. You see heaps of interesting buildings and learn about the history of the fort.

Excellent experience on the boat. We were finally able to go on the excursion after several days of rough seas. The sea was very choppy, but we saw dolphins and several blue whales. On board, we were given a sandwich, bananas, and a cake.

Fun trip , fin whale seen recommended for anyone who loves a few hours at sea

It was a wonderful personal experience cooking with Wasantha’s family. The information provided at the markets was fantastic and we chose our own ingredients. I cooked with my son and can’t wait to try the recipes at home.

I am not easily impressed. But this definitely belonged to the highlights of my three-week trip to Sri Lanka. The most important thing first: The food was great - perhaps the best I had in the three weeks. And I have almost always eaten very well.Very friendly, professional, clean, and well-organized, while also being extremely entertaining and educational.First, there was a warm, hearty soup. Then we went to Galle to the market: first to buy vegetables, later fresh fish at the harbor. All questions were answered kindly. A true experience. Afterward, back to Unawatuna to the family restaurant. The course was led by Wasantha's daughter, with support from her brother - clear, entertaining, and in very understandable English.

Wonderful tour, so interesting and Yasiru is very knowledgeable, the tour exceeded expectations. Covered so much and would highly recommend this tour
