You will not regret it. We rented a boat for 4 hours for $150 it was worth every dollar.

Wonderful excursion with the best tour guide. Value for money absolutely could not be beat. We were gone over 4 hours and it cost nearly the same as a 1.5 hour tour with another company. Very small group, which we loved. I think 9 or 10 including the 2 of us. Very chill atmosphere. Highly recommend.

The tour was exceptional. The boat was clean , and they took us to great spots to swim and really gave a lot of history of gaeta and sperlonga. The captain and mate were so friendly , and made sure everyone was comfortable and having a good time. Highly recommend A+

A very informative tour about the significance and key factors associated with the WWII battles around the city of Cassino as well as an introduction to the Monastery at Monte Cassino. Anna was friendly and offered more detailed information on even more specific items from questions. Members of the group also had a family member buried in the Commonwealth Cemetery and Anna assisted with the location of the actual grave site. When the transplantation we were on had a mechanical issue, Anna was able to quickly obtain a backup that allowed us to complete the tour without missing a beat!!

Anna was knowledgable, enthusiastic and passionate. She delivered an excellent trip over a 3 hour timeslot. She also dropped us off at the Commonwealth Cemetary at the end of the tour to allow us time to remember my wife’s late Grandfather who was killed on the battle

It's a boat tour that lasts an hour round trip, but it allows you to admire all the beauty of Gaeta from the sea with a very good guide, and then you go ashore and go see the places again from land.

Having a life long interest in the Italian campaign in WW2, and having visited Cassino and the monastery 15 years ago, with a commercial bus tour company. I decided this year to go back to Cassino and get a more hands on personal experience. I was very fortunate in choosing Pino for the excursion up the Cavendish Road and round to the monastery, with a little stop off at the new Albaneta brewery, where a few of the lovely local beers were consumed lol.Pino was a wonderful tour guide, very informative and extremely passionate about the history of the battle. His hotel is also worth a visit as it has many artifacts and memorabilia of the wartime period on display.

The trip was a pleasure from start to finish. Captain Paulo was a great host. He explained landmarks along the way and gladly assisted anyone who needed it. The boat was in excellent condition, and the tomato pie hit the spot. Swimming in the Blue lagoon was an unforgettable moment. The kids appreciated the multiple opportunities to swim.

A special boat outing with friends that made my birthday even more exciting. So much kindness and warmth in accompanying us to the boat, a cautious, attentive, and very kind skipper. Sensational landscape at sunset, in good company. Perfect experience, absolutely to be repeated.

Fantastic hiking up Cavendish Road! Pino was our guide and so incredibly passionate and knowledgeable about the WWII historical significance and events taking place there. He brought the story to life with pictures and stories that really made the trip amazing. We ended at the Abby Montecassino which was a true sight to behold. This is a don’t miss opportunity for a day trip experience.Plan for a true outdoor hike, lots of uphill for the post Rome bread exercise!

The history talk with Pino is exceptional. His knowledge of the battle of Monte Cassino comes from not just years of research but also years of interacting with first, veterans of the campaign and now their family members. The Hotel La Pace is more like a museum with artifacts, letters and pictures lining the walls. Pino gives insight and background to bring the pieces together of what can be a very confusing time in WW II history. If you’re planning on visiting the Abbey don’t miss this first - wine is nice also!

Pino is not just an excellent host but also an extremely knowledgeable storyteller/historian. Thru pictures, videos and his descriptions, the Battle for Monte Cassino became clear and understandable. Nice Gustav Wine and snacks made for a perfect ending to his fascinating presentation. If you are planning a visit to the Abbey don’t miss this opportunity to know all about it before you go. Truly excellent.
