Great tripto Varosha with great guides

My partner and I arrived around 11pm in Cyprus and had booked this Vino Venture for our first day. Our pick up was prompt and there were three couples and our guide for the entire day. Every winery was stunning and individual, with the amazing mountain scenery surrounding us. Our mere lunch was absolutely divine and never seemed like it would end. We bought wines at each of the three wineries although we felt no pressure to buy at any time but the wines were too beautiful not to bring some home. Highly recommend this tour and Maria was amazing.

What a great day we had with John and Hayley. The Varosha trip is described as a half day trip but we were picked up at 9:20 and dropped back off at 15:30 and the day was packed full of fun, learning and anecdotes. Hayley's knowledge was sound and she kept everyone engaged. The Bus is a little uncomfy, particularly if you have long legs and a bad back but worth the slight discomfort. We could have easily spent more time in Varosha as it was truly fascinating and very easy to navigate. Top tip - take a towell, not least for your top deck seat on the way back- hot hot hot! The customer service was excellent and no question was too much for John or Hayley, who both went the extra mile at the end of our day......we wanted to purchase the USB merchandise but they had sold out by the time we departed the tour bus, however, Hayley offered to get one to us the following day, which she did, on time and at the designated meeting point - what a star! Overall an excellent tour and would highly recommend 👌

My travel plans included only one day in North Cyprus, and my goal was to see the “Saint Barnabas Monastery”, Saint Barnabas’ tomb, and ancient Salamis. Sirin was an outstanding guide for this. These were the first places that we visited on the tour, after which we went to Famagusta, the “Ghost Town” of Famagusta, and then spent some time on the north side of Nicosia. Sirin provided outstanding pre-tour guidance as I was flying into North Cyprus the day before the planned tour, but I was staying at hotels in south Cyprus. Sirin provided highly critical information pre-tour to help me navigate the border crossing that runs though the town of Nicosia. Sirin is very knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. I also got a kick out of how many other guides Sirin interacted with during the day. She is clearly well-respected and liked by so many other professional guides! I highly recommend this tour.

A fantadtic excursion led by Tony, an excellent and most knowledgable guide. Pick up time 0800 and from the moment we we got into the jeep was a mixture of comedy and knowledge ... best part of the day, the short cuts, scream if you want to go faster, if you know, you know 🤣 🤣 🤣

The experience was very good. Our guide spoke very good English and understood everything that was said. It was a very enriching excursion, as we learned about the history of the ghost town, of Salamis, Famagusta, among other sites.

A great day out with friends and family. A bit of a journey from where we were staying in Protaras, but made easy with pick up from our door. The day was really made by our tour guide who was so knowledgeable about both the area and all the wineries. A really lovely day out with some fantastic wines!

We signed up for the tour after a friend’s recommendation and had the best time making halloumi, tasting Cypriot delicacies, exploring Lefkara’s famous lace shops and more! The staff were incredible. Thank you Cyprus Taste Tours for this amazing day!

Our guide Sirin on the day trip to Famagusta was excellent friendly, knowledgeable, and very engaging. Highly recommended.

We did the 2.5 hour tour of Varosha left Protaras 09:20 got back about 14:20 the bus driver and guide are lovely so chatty friendly and informative and know the journey and the route inside out - tips for the day bring a towel the upstairs leather seats can be very hot with the sun - hold onto your hat it can be windy as the bus is moving - fare is cash only - do the app you only need 1 you can put it on speaker phone it gives you extra information really worth the 5euros - Varosha is card only - it’s all walkable we found 2.5 hours just right - you can swim but it’s tight probably only get 15 mins if you do the town itself properly - would definitely recommend

This is a really wonderful day out seeing and tasting the products of the local businesses in the foothills of the Troodos mountains. Our guide was so knowledgeable and friendly and really provided the personal touch for the day. And the food, drink and olive oils were fantastic. Highly recommended.

Pickup from nearby location and on time. Friendly and informative greeting from both driver (Clive) and tour guide (Hayley). Smooth bus ride between pick up and final stop. Can get very hot on top of open top bus so lotion up or cover up (was advised of this beforehand). Hayley gave us useful snippets of history during the bus ride which broke up the transfer. We got 2.5 hours of free time to walk around Varosha. We managed to walk most of the route (map provided). An additional hour or 2 would have been welcomed to allow for drink / snack stops without feeling rushed and to cover the full route of the town. Clive took us around the outskirts of Varosha on the return journey, giving us a glimpse of the residential area that can't be seen on foot. Journey back and drop offs were smooth. Souvenirs are available (at cost) Hayley explained about these whilst on the bus. Would highly recommend and would definitely do this tour again. Thank you
