Gashaw and Aspire Ethiopia are the way to go when traveling to Addis and further throughout the country! He’s very friendly, flexible, and knowledgeable, and does the best job at not only allowing you to enjoy the beauty of the country and culture, but also learn about and understand it during your time there. My trip was a life-changing experience, and it wouldn’t have been the same without his guidance throughout it. Can’t recommend Gashaw and Aspire Ethiopia enough!

My family and I had such a great time in Ethiopia thanks to Gashaw. From the start, he made us feel like we were traveling with a close friend rather than a tour guide. He brought such a fun, welcoming, family like energy to the whole trip and knew literally everything about every place we visited. We learned so much, shared plenty of laughs, and genuinely enjoyed every moment with him. By the end of the trip, he felt like part of the family. Couldn’t recommend him enough!

At the moment, there are a lot of roadworks that can make the journey a bit bumpy, but the views of the countryside and places you want to see are worth it. There are also people along the way at the places you stop who will be trying to sell things, so have some small currency to buy if you wish. Our driver, Abay, was good about navigating the traffic to keep us on time. The monastery is stunning with it's stain glassed windows. The monkey families we saw was great also. The waterfall and Portugeuse bridge was nice.

The Addis day tour covered essential sights to see in Addis. Booking was easy and Teshome immediately reached out to confirm hotel pick up time. Teshome, the tour guide and Teferi, the driver showed up on time for pick up. Teshome was very knowledgeable and covered the key historical facts on all sites we visited and was a great tour guide. While St George church was under renovation, he took us to another church Ba’eta Le Mariam monastery where king Menellik II and his family are buried. Overall, tour was very informative on Ethiopia’s history. Teferi did a wonderful job driving the busy streets and navigating the narrow streets of Merkato. I would highly recommend this tour.

Super enjoy with my tour guide Zele. I think he is extremely knowledgeable and he teaches me so many things about Ethiopia, Africa. The religion, the geology, the animals, the landscape, the culture, the music and so much more. I especially love the Addis Ababa university and enthnological museum and we learn a lot of things. And thanks Mr Zele to take care of me in this rainy days. Thank you. I will be back to Ethiopia one day again in the future.

He shared so many interesting facts throughout the day, answered all our questions, and made the whole experience genuinely engaging. You can immediately tell that he really knows and loves his country.Our driver, Barch, was also excellent — very professional, careful, and reliable. We felt completely safe and comfortable throughout the entire journey.The tour itself was beautiful and very well organized. We saw the Gelada baboons, visited Debre Libanos and the Portuguese Bridge, enjoyed the scenery, and never felt rushed. Everything was relaxed and comfortable — we actually felt like we had a proper day off while still seeing and learning so much.A fantastic experience from start to finish. Highly recommended!

I had an amazing day with our tour guide Teshome. He was very knowledgeable about Ethiopia and I learned more about much more than Addis Ababa. The museums were wonderful and it was a real treat to visit the church. We enjoyed the coffee ceremony and lunch. The driver Teferi guided us through Mercato with ease. I only had one day to tour and this was jam-packed. I highly recommend it.
