The most local experience you could hope for in Cat Ba!The pickup goes very well, on time, and the guide will do everything to make you feel comfortable; they know a lot of things, so do not hesitate to ask your questions.We were only in a small group on a very cute little boat, which adds to its charm + avoids tourist crowds; we were almost alone on the bay thanks to the proposed program and activities.The bay is magnificent and CAT BA LOCAL made this moment even more unforgettable.Thank you!

Everything ran smoothly and the sites were worth it. The guide (Tyler) was extremely professional and passionate. It's hard to describe but a guide can really impact the quality of the experience, and Tyler really made the experience worth it.

Phong was an excellent guide and we had a fantastic day at Ha Long Bay with the day cruise. It was great weather as well so we could enjoy the views and a spectacular sunset along with the Surprise Cave visit, swimming at an island and kayaking/bamboo boat or add on speed boat. Do be warned it is a lot of steps at the surprise cave!

I was contacted the day before the tour by the guide, Phong and he let me know the exact pickup location and time. The driver, Chinh, was also great. I was solo traveling and a bit nervous since we were placed in groups of six for the lunch meal. However, Phong did a wonderful job at placing me in a fantastic group of similar travelers and I had a wonderful time, even though I was the only vegetarian. The meal was great and they were quite generous with the portions, and even gave me my own. I really appreciate the thoughtfulness.Phong was a great guide and kept everything on time. He was very kind and offered explanations of a variety of things, from cave formations to the day's schedule.It was a lovely day and a good activity for people with different abilities. You can skip the cave and relax on the boat if you are not able to handle stairs. Instead of kayaking, they have a boat option where someone can paddle a group into the other cave system.The food was great, service was wonderful, the boat was very lovely and I am very thankful for the experience.
