Rioja Like A Native Wine TourVenture15300506633, Sep 2026
Simply spectacular!
A spectacular day with friends. And not only the friends we came with but the friends we made - Fito, Rebeca and Roberto. Along with Juan from Diez de Corral and Carolina from Lecea. We learned and experienced the great agricultural and history of La Rioja. A beautiful blend of education, history and family warmth. Excellent wines and a home cooked meal.A meaningful day. Don’t miss out on this opportunity.

Intimate Local Wine Culture
Rebeca was our coodinator for this trip for me and my partner and Fito was our guide. Rebeca was prompt to contact us after we booked. Fito was very knowledgeable of the wine culture and curated a magnificent tour with plenty of wine, snacks, and a lovely local lunch. We visited three small wineries: BODEGAS PETRALANDA S.L., a modest establishment; Bodegas Lecea, where we toured the underground caverns; and Bodegas Puelles, which was by far the most beautiful and breathtaking stop of our tour.

An excellent wine tour with a knowledgable guide
The Rioja Like a Native tour was a great experience! From the beginning our guide was friendly, engaging and knowledgable about wine. We visited multiple vineyards and tasted wines from producers at different scales including tasting the family wine from the tour organizer, Rebeca. The home-cooked meal was excellent and even tried drinking wine from a porrón. If you want a stress free way to have a great time in La Rioja, book this tour!

Private Full Day Wine Tour in Riojatxaggie2002, Sep 2026
Do not miss this!
Rebeca planned three private days of wine tasting for us in the Rioja area. It could not have been any better… Including a very special celebration for my wife’s birthday from a beautiful spot overlooking the vines. The food, the wine, and the company were all exceptional. We could not have have imagined a better way to experience some of the best wine in Spain.

Full day wine tour with private transportation
Our private wine tour with professional driver was an amazing experience. Rebeca was great with planing out the day for us - taking into account or requests and making sure we had all the information. It was a mix of different wineries including a tour, private lunch, and a tasting. The most incredible part was Bodega Petralanda, a small family owned winery where we were able to get a private tour and have a home cooked lunch. It was by far the best part of the day. I can’t end without shouting out our driver Carlos, who was extremely polite, helpful, and always made sure we were on time to our next spot. Truly an incredible experience overall.

Visit a winery of the 19th century and its draftrichardpY7830AT, Aug 2026
Good wine, good food and a glimpse into winemaking of the past.
This is not a vineyard, but a restored 19th century, winery show casing the equipment and methods of local Rioja winemaking that has almost completely died out, complete with treading barrels, a press and large cellar with storage barrels. A little hard to find, but when you see a sign saying it is straight on (coming from Logrono direction), it is immediately on the right. There is parking 50yds on the left. Walk back to the two doors and gate on the other side of the road.
We enjoyed the wines and the tour and were given excellent food cooked for us while we were there. Loved the winery and the friendly owners.

Most excellent wine tour!
Jaime led us on a most excellent tour of two small family wineries in Ribera del Duero. His additional explanations of the history of the area were excellent as well

Surprise and charm
Simply incredible
They have worked wonders with the winery
As hosts, both Jose and Josune have been impeccable, elegant, approachable, as if we had known each other our whole lives.
They have built an original and powerful company.
I have nothing but good words for them.
And the food???? What talented hands you have, Josune...
And their wine only improves the experience
Thanks for everything!!!

Family-run wine business with soul. 5 Star visit
Arrived after they had closed, but snuck in through the side door. Jorge was a wonderful host. Lovely white wine and the Rosè was brilliant. Did not taste any red. Jambon and cheese was served with tasting. Definitely not to be missed.

Rioja Wine Tour
My wife, daughter, son-in-law and I spent a little over two weeks in northern Portugal and northern Spain and had a fabulous trip. This day long excursion in La Rioja was one of the highlights. Rebeca is just an outstanding and gracious host and showed us a great time. The two Bodegas we visited were quality and top notch, but the lunch, tour, and blind wine tasting hosted by Rebeca was the best.
It is not cheap, but well worth it. Book with Rebeca and you won’t be disappointed.

Spectacular tasting experience, fun and educational. And all in an incredible underground winery
Highly recommended
The visit to the winery was interesting and curious. Explanations about the history of wine in Arqnda and how it has changed in recent years.
But the tasting is a spectacle.
Fun, educational, and approachable.
Even for beginners. You leave with the feeling of having enjoyed while learning a lot.
Alberto and Diego were great.

A Masterclass in Ribera del Duero, Led by Someone Who Truly Loves It
We took this private Ribera del Duero wine tour in late November and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We were picked up directly from our hotel in Burgos and spent the day visiting three very different wineries, capped off with a memorable spit-roasted leg of lamb served in an old castle. What stood out most was how thoughtfully the wineries were selected. Each visit was clearly customized to the type of wine experience and purchasing interest I had. The three wineries differed in style, production approach, history, and price point, yet together they gave a well-rounded understanding of Tempranillo and Ribera del Duero as a whole. It felt intentional rather than formulaic. The day ran from about 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and because it was just my wife and me, the pace was relaxed and personal. Our driver and guide, Jaime, truly made the experience exceptional. We’ve done wine tours in Argentina, Uruguay, and other parts of Spain, and this ranked among the best—largely because of him. Jaime clearly loves what he does and is a natural educator. He’s deeply proud of Spain and shared insightful context about Spanish history, culture, and wine throughout the day, which added real depth to the experience.I would highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to explore beyond the more well-known Rioja region. Ribera del Duero is more rural and feels less traveled, which was part of its charm. This would be especially appealing to serious Ribera del Duero wine fans, honeymooners, or anyone interested in learning more about wine in an immersive, unhurried way. Communication and payment were both easy and straightforward from start to finish. Highly recommended.
