Bolzano Travel Guides (Updated September 2026)

Our guide, Claudia, led us to fantastic street food spots while giving us some history of the area. She also provided great recommendations for restaurants that serve local delicacies. She was entertaining and charming. It was a very enjoyable experience!

Our driver, Luigi, gave us a fantastic tour through the Dolomites. He stopped at great places to capture photos of the incredible landscapes, and at Refugio Maria for a lunch of traditional local food. Our last stop was Lago di Carezza, a beautiful lake with cristal-clear water. This is a day trip worth taking!

Claudia was an amazing guide with so much local knowledge. Not only did we eat great food, we learned a lot about the region and its culture.. We like to do a food tour in each city we visit and this was one of the best! Highly recommend!

Well-thought-out route, interesting descriptions, and tricky but solvable puzzles! We were able to choose our own pace and stopped everywhere that was interesting. I would definitely recommend it.

We made the tour in the combination of three generations (over 80, over 40 and 2 and 6) and we loved it. Places and routes are really well choosen and really easy to handle. The riddles where challenging but doable and even the youngest group did not complain about the boring sightseeing as the loved the tasks. We will definitive keep the experience positive in our minds!

It was amazing, both the guide for my 16 year old son and me were wonderful. I think their names were Marcus and Luke). They met us on time at the meeting point, took us on a amazing flight, were knowledgeable and took the best pictures and videos! I would do this trip with them again!

We did not book for a tasting but just checked on hours they were open then drove and arrived at the winery. It is a little tricky to find but well worthwhile. We had a wonderful tasting and great information from Marlies about the wines and the region. This is a very special wine producer with some wonderful wine from their bio-dynamic vineyards in the high altitude which produce stunning aromas and a wonderful freshness. The views from the Tasting room are also quite spectacular!

Our day in the Dolomites region with Alex was superb from the moment he greeted us at our accommodation. Scored a perfect day of beautiful weather to showcase this spectacular region full of incredible beauty. Alex has boundless knowledge, and we never felt rushed enjoying our stops. He is an extremely safe driver and we had a magnificent day covering the 300 odd kms in conversation with him. Very pleased we found his website and seeing this amazing region. Thoroughly recommend!! Absolutely amazing when you reach the Dolomites. The views are spectacular all over the top where you arrive on the Gondola. We also really liked walking around the beautiful lake on the way back to Bolzano. Our driver was very good!

Unforgettable experience in a beautiful scenery. The tour was very interesting, we've learned a lot of new interesting facts about the winery and wine production process. We had a picnic on the green grass near the grapes fields, with a stunning view to Tuscany landscapes. The picnic was arranged perfectly, everything was tasty and nicely served. The wine was amazing (we had bianco Vermentino). Strongly recommend this experience.

Alessandro created an unforgettable day for us hitting the Braies and Misurina Lakes and seeing the Three Peaks of Lavaredo in his comfortable private car. The views were spectacular and Alessandro excels in his knowledge and love of the Dolomites. Highly recommend!
