Spending time with Agnieska and her family in their lovely home, and working with them to prepare traditional Lithuanian dishes, was a highlight of our time in Lithuania. We spent such a pleasant evening learning more about their language, culture, and history. Their home overlooks a pond with water lilies, and as we cooked and dined, we watched a stork and a deer wander by. It made our time as tourists to their country warmly personal, and we are so grateful for their hospitality and welcome.

I attended this cooking class in Lithuania with my sister, and it was an amazing experience! The class took place in a beautiful house, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Exploring Lithuanian cuisine felt very special to us, as it connects to our roots, and it was truly exciting to learn traditional recipes. The instructors were knowledgeable and friendly, making the evening both fun and informative. Thank you for a great experience—it was a real pleasure! Highly recommended!

A great experience in a really relaxed environment with locals. My friend and I visited Vilnius for a long weekend and this was on our first full evening. The hosts were really informative, friendly and willing to share their culture, information and home. I really enjoyed the experience and learned a lot, also met locals and other travellers who were enjoying the area. Thank you Ruta!

My mom and I had such a a wonderful time with Agnieska and her family learning to cook Cepelinais and cold beetroot soup. We felt welcomed immediately and had a relaxed and joyful time sharing stories and laughing together. Neither my mom nor I are the best at cooking and although new, nothing felt too challenging, not only was it a very tasty meal, we felt really proud to have been the ones to make it when the family went for seconds. My Mom was thrilled to relive the memories of the tastes of her grandmother's food. We arrived strangers and left as family. I cannot thank them enough for welcoming us into their home for such a fun and memorable evening.

Wonderful experience! Absolutely worth the price- this is not just a cooking class but an opportunity to socialize with a local couple, ask questions and interact. Ruta and spouse are phenomenal hosts. They were supportive of our diverse age range (10-75yrs) and varied culinary experience. After experiencing ‘local’ cuisine in the commercial downtown we were impressed with the difference that having a homemade, fresh twist on traditional meals made to flavor- the dishes made with heart are definitely better! So happy that we made time in our schedule for this experience!

We had the most wonderful time with Ruta. The class was engaging and quite intimate because there was only one other couple joining us. We prepared the cold beet soup, zeppelins and "little potatoes" dessert (it's not actual potatoes). We had a blast learning how to cook these dishes and talking travel, Lithuanian culture and history. We are so thankful for Ruta and her husband for opening their home to us.

A fabulous evening, it was treat to end our travels with an authentic Lithuanian experience. We were welcomed into Ruta and her husband’s beautiful home, and enjoyed a delicious meal and fascinating dinner conversation discussing Lithuanian culture and their proud heritage. Ruta is a great chef and a charming hostess. The meal was a culinary delight featuring traditional Lithuanian dishes served with a contemporary flair. We hope to reconnect on our next adventure to Lithuania.

The cooking workshop with Ruta is very well organized and we spent an excellent evening with our guests in a very pleasant setting. Not to be missed!
