Top Ohrid Dining Experiences

We had a fantastic evening at Viktor’s wine tasting and bbq. Great food and wine, and lots of it, in a beautiful place with an amazing sunset. Would recommend

Magical location. Lovely hosts. The Balkans are exceptional for food, wine and hospitality (maybe because they have not had everything degraded by capitalism, maybe because of the strong family culture and maybe because of the weather) This is right at the top of our experience of Macedonia. Public transport is not fabulous in Macedonia, but we had a lovely driver who mentioned this place. Within minutes, he had called the hosts arranged for us to visit. I think they are very busy, but kindly fitted us in. What a memorable experience! We sat amongst sparkly lights, outdoors and there was so much effort and value in the food and wine before we even got to the rakjia. I honestly wondered what I had done to deserve this. A top experience with our children and nephew that I will value always. If you want to know about the rakjia, you will have to try it. You will not be disappointed.

A really lovely experience. The food was amazing and the rakija and wine even better. The couple who run the place were lovely. Great to hear about the sustainable farming practices.

This was a very special visit just outside the town of Ohrid to a family-run distillery. The property sits against a beautiful backdrop of mountains and vineyards. There are cute puppies, traditional local food, and plenty of wine and raki. Stefan will take great care of you, even driving you around on his tractor! It was a lot of fun, a total surprise, and absolutely worth it.

Stefan took us so well! He even picked us up in the mountain town! We felt like wanted guests and had a very nice stay! Full tour with tractor on the whole farm, tasted fruits from the trees and drank several types of wine and raki! The food was great - in abundant quantities! It was an honor to come to visit!

We had a private bbq with wine tasting. The entire holiday already been on the road with Vik and his team. This was a nice finish. At home with Viktor with a magical view. It was amazing!

2 excursion and both were great. Really Nice and friendly people and they explain everything with passion. Also they had really good captains on there boats.

We planned this wine tasting with our family as we wanted a real Bulkan experience and that is exactly what we got. Our kids even loved it and got to play with all the animals especially the puppies. It was amazing! Stefan and Ivanka made us feel like part of the family, they showed us around their property, they let us try all the different rakia and wine. The food was plentiful and delicious. The views were stunning. It was so relaxing and a memory we can all take with us. We even purchased some wine and rakia to take home. Thank you for the wonderful evening. We are so grateful you welcomed us to your amazing property.

Wow - what an amazing place - a charming working farm and winery in a beautiful location close to Ohrid. Stefan and Ivana were perfect hosts. We enjoyed copious amounts of lovely rajika, wine and fruit liqueur produced at the farm using fruits grown on the farm along with a delicious cheese and meat platter (cheese also produced on the farm by Stefan's uncle) - with tour of the winery and explanation of the processes given. We also really enjoyed meeting Stefan's pets and farm animals. To top it off Stefan took us around the village by tractor! Extremely well organised (including pick-up and drop-off) and very good value - we recommend this trip 100%.

A really enjoyable evening of Macedonian food & wine, and wonderful international company. Viktor & Anastasia are great hosts! Beautiful views across the lake too. I was travelling with my son and we really enjoyed getting to know our fellow visitors.

We joined the wine tasting experience, and it was truly unforgettable. We were welcomed into Vik and his wife's home with incredible warmth and hospitality. Every wine we tasted was delicious, the food was excellent, and the breathtaking view made the experience even more special. We had a wonderful evening and would highly recommend this unique experience!

We had an incredible time at Vik's Unique Wine Tasting Experience in Ohrid. Vik is a fantastic, welcoming host whose passion and deep knowledge of local Macedonian wines made the entire session both engaging and highly educational.​The wine selections were outstanding, perfectly paired with delicious local bites that truly enhanced the tasting. It was the perfect, relaxing way to spend an evening together during our family trip to Ohrid. If you are visiting the region, this is an absolute must-do experience! Highly recommended.

We had a very nice and pleasant evening. You can taste six delicious wines and a delicious bbq, with plenty of options for everyone. Beautiful view over the lake! Would definitely recommend it!

Proper authentic experience of wine and food with a local family. Amazing views, especially for the sunset - tried some delicious wines and tasty barbecue. Would highly recommend as a unique experience.

We had an amazing time here! Lovely people, a lot of laughter, amazing food, and even better wine. Contact was perfect, and everything was taken care of. I cannot recomment this place and Viktor enough!!
