It was by far our #1 most thrilling experience in NZ… Their FOH team, Wicco and Harry, were absolutely amazing and so helpful. We really appreciated everything they did for us and made the whole experience even more special.Sam, our pilot, was also fantastic and very engaging. He gave us lots of interesting background about everything we were seeing from the helicopter and even took some amazing photos of us on top of the mountain! An absolutely unforgettable experience! 🚁🏔️

This experience was the highlight of our whole trip to NZ and I will never get over it! A core memory forever. The best money I’ve ever spent. If you are on the fence about doing this chopper ride, just do it! Landing on the glazier was so cool. Our pilot Richard was amazing and so skilled. Thank you for flawless experience.

Glentanner High Country Heli Hike

Magical
We were so privileged to be in the company of Glentanner's owner, Ross, who took time out of his usual farming activities today, to guide us down from the 1000 metre helicopter drop-off point on the family's high country station. After a short but breathtaking flight up, we spent several hours in awe of the beauty of our surroundings with Mt Cook clearly visible. The ground at our feet was covered with a plethora of fascinating alpine plants, we were engaged in pleasant and knowledgeable conversation with Ross throughout, finding out all kinds of interesting facts about the area, and we enjoyed the morning tea snack baked by Ross's wife, the recipe of which I now have to recreate at home! This was easily the highlight of our 6 week South Island trip, and we hope to return to stay again with the Glentanner holiday park "family" and have more adventures in the future.Thank you xo

First flight in two weeks!
After challenging weather conditions and a couple of rescheduled flights we were able to make our flight for the grand glacier experience. The admin team were very supportive in helping arrange an alternative day and our pilot gave a great commentary throughout our trip. The glacier landing and flight over Fox Glacier were super special. So lucky to fly as the previous 2 weeks had been flightless.

Mount Cook: Mountains High 40-Minute Helicopter Flight

Great Mt Cook helicopter experience
We went on this flight on a sunny day late afternoon in April. We all got to watch a safety video before onboard the helicopter. The ground persons well organised everyone line up base on the flight options. Onboarding the helicopter everyone followed the instructions and our pilot Richard well explained different mountains and Tasman glacier during the flight time. The helicopter flight wasnt fast so didn't t feel uncomfortable. The views from the high up is amazing and there are numbers of moments we were flight along side the mountains so we can view the mountains from very closely. The snow peak landing was great experience and we got to have some nice photos with mt Cook, the helicopter, and kids have few minutes snow playing time at the peak. It wasn't that cold up the Alps peak compared to when we were on the ground. For someone wants to give a try helicopter ride this is a nice option.
