Top Kusadasi Arab Baths

We had a lovely experience. We arrived by cruise. There was a lady that met us directly outside the port exit. She walked us to our transportation (FYI, this was a short walk away, a couple of streets over). The drive was about 10 minutes. The hamam was a beautiful old building. The gentleman working the front desk was very friendly. He offered us additional massage and oil options, but he was not pushy. My husband and I were able to stay together for the entire experience. I appreciated that they did not make us separate, as I’ve seen where some traditional hamams will separate you by gender. They provided towels for modesty during the bath and massage. When we were done, the driver was waiting for us and promptly took us back. We were dropped off at the same spot we took off from. There were some shops and places to eat, and a nice view. It was nice to be able to walk around and explore a bit before returning to the ship.

To be completely transparent, the fee you pay is for transportation to and from the bath house as well as the sauna, Turkish bath with exfoliation and bubbles. This alone is a very amazing experience for the price. I would go so far as to say it was life changing. We opted for the additional cost for the reflexology and full deep tissue massage. Without a doubt it was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. From pickup to drop off the experience lasted about two hours. My wife and I have had massages all over the world and we both agree that combining the Turkish bath with the massage put this place on the very top of our list. Would 100 percent recommend.

We absolutely loved it. It was the first time we had this experience. The money is worth it. We were there about 2 1/2 hours.

Lila, Tose and Olga were phenomenal. I f you want an authentic experience this is the place to go. It was very clean and hygienic. If I ever make it back to Turkey I will definitely do this again.

Car came to collect us from hotel at time arranged, on arrival the proprietor explained the process and optional upgrades to us. Initial sauna and steam-room together, then we were gender-split for massage processes. Water and Turkish tea completed the on-site experience before car returned us to our hotel via cash machine….TAKE CASH for upgrades!A great experience experience, heightened by the driver’s dinner recommendation which was very good and friendly too.

We really didn’t know what to expect but this experience was amazing. So relaxing, highly recommend!

Three friends and I (all women) booked this as an excursion on our Kusadasi, Turkey port day on our Mediterranean cruise. We were slightly apprehensive on what to expect but were pleasantly surprised by the friendly staff and clean establishment. There was about a 15 minute hot sauna, followed by a cool water rinse. Next there was an invigorating exfoliating process, followed by a light bubble scrub/massage. Then another rinse. This process was included in the price of the excursion. My friends and I all chose to have a Bali masssge afterward and it was wonderful. This was a great roughly 1 hour and a half hour experience. We throughly enjoyed it. One word of advice to other women, don't spend a lot of time on your hair and makeup beforehand. You will get wet. Also, wear a two-piece bathing suit if you choose to get a massage.

I visited Maximum Hamam with my son and we both had the wonderful Sultan Experience. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel welcome and completely relaxed. The whole experience was fantastic, but a very special thank you to my therapist, Turkan. She was absolutely wonderful — professional and incredibly skilled. We both left feeling refreshed, relaxed and like new people! If you are visiting Kuşadası, I highly recommend Maximum Hamam. The Sultan Experience is definitely worth it!

Husband and I Visited from cruise for day and was nothing short of amazing! We did the relaxation journey with sauna, steam, scrub, foam bath, message, salt room & facial and it was glorious! Short walk from cruise port. This may have been my best ever spa day Highly recommend. Must visit if you have a cruise stop here.

Brilliant fun if you’ve never been before. Worth the taxi ride and well looked after. Great experience and would go again.

I had never experienced a hamam before and was probably a little nervous. The women were amazing! I was immediately at ease and had an amazing experience! Would definitely do it again!

Fantastic experience, really worthwhile, wasn't always sure what was happening as my Turkish is not good and they didn't speak alot of English. Picked up and dropped, private changing facitaties, massage was brilliant, really worthwhile

I would recommend a Turkish bath. Be sure to wear bathing suit bottoms. When they put bubbles on you it felt like feathers be blown on

The Hamam was a beautiful building and the experience inside the hamam was lovely ialthoygh it did feel a little rushed. Unfortunately the pick up location wasn’t clear (others also struggled to find it) and our Rep was disengaged. Our coach driver was great.

My husband and I spent a morning at Maximum Hamam, having booked the ‘Relax Journey’. It was 2 1/2 hours and it was quite the ride. Despite watching videos of traditional hamams before leaving on our holiday, we somehow still were surprised.The amazing things first: - the lady at reception is divine. She was incredibly helpful when we booked, and throughout our morning there. In fact, every single staff member we came across was friendly, smiling, polite and kind. - The facility is clean and hygienic, and has the atmosphere of a high end, luxury spa, with beautiful lighting and peaceful decor. - We were given beautiful Turkish tea and treats along the way. - And our therapists were respectful at every single moment throughout our time there.That said, there were some things that surprised us:- cold water to rinse off (interspersed with warm); holy heck, that shock definitely got the endorphins going. - Also, full disclosure: Breasts that are uncovered (if you choose to forgo a bikini type top as I did) will be treated as part of the experience. Thus, they will be exfoliated and washed by hand also. Keep in mind my previous comment, that my therapist was respectful at all times, but still. My boobs are squeaky clean today! - The relaxing massage was anything but. The noises coming out of my husband beside me are proof that there was zero relaxation. We were twisted and pulled and cracked like little pretzels. Zero regrets mind you because the remedial type massage we both received in the end was probably what our aching travel-weary bodies needed, but the “Relax” title is a misnomer. “Invigorating” perhaps, “wild ride” definitely.All in all, this will go down in our travel memories as a hilarious, wild experience that we would never have anywhere else. We’ll be laughing and talking about it forever. And isn’t that what travel is for?!
