Top Kingstown Audio Guided Tours

We had the pleasure of being guided by Samual “Ruff” today, and it was truly one of the highlights of our trip to Saint Vincent. Ruff’s knowledge of the island’s history was outstanding — he brought Dark View falls, pirates of the Caribbean, Fort Charlotte and the Obelisk of Joseph Chatoyer to life with stories that went far beyond the standard tour script. All this in just over 6 hours was amazing. At Dark View Falls, Ruff’s support helping the two of us navigate the falls was greatly appreciated, and he later guided us through Richmond Vale, where we saw first-hand the striking aftermath of the volcanic eruption — a sobering and unforgettable sight. What made the experience truly special was learning about Ruff’s own connections to the island’s culture. Having worked on the production of Pirates of the Caribbean, he shared incredible first-hand stories about working alongside the producers and crew — details you simply won’t find anywhere else. He’s also deeply connected to the local music scene, having worked as a music video producer for some well-known ragga soca artists from St. Vincent, and his insights into the genre’s origins added a whole new dimension to the tour and got me interested in the music.Ruff was friendly, personable, and clearly went above and beyond to make sure we had a memorable experience. This was a once-in-a-lifetime day, and we’re certain it wouldn’t have been the same with a different guide. If you’re visiting Saint Vincent and want someone who combines deep local knowledge with genuinely fascinating personal stories, we couldn’t recommend Ruff more highly.

Ruff was really friendly, smiling, and very interesting, with plenty of anecdotes about the filming of Pirates of the Caribbean. A great way to discover Saint Vincent, with plenty of explanations about the history and culture of the island!

This tour is a must when in St. Vincent, as you see the islands highlights. You will learn so so much about the islands history and culture. The guide is extremely knowledgeable and was part of the pirates of the carribean movie production on the island. You might also be able to taste his homemade ginger beer which was delicious. Highly recommended!

Ruff took me and my girlfriend to see Walilabou Bay (place of Pirates of the Caribbean filming and he was on the set). Gave us some cool behind the scenes info and took pictures throughout the tour. We also booked the Dark View tour with him and he took plenty of photos patiently. He also provided bananas after the dark view experience. He played some Ragga Soca (never heard of it before) on the way back, which I’m getting into after this trip. Would book with him again in the future. Good guy

Just completed (3/11) a fabulous tour with Orville (Ruff) who was really knowledgeable and passionate about his beautiful island. Would not hesitate to recommend him and his company. Make sure you choose IVtours and book ahead of your visit to St Vincent

Absolutely worth the hype. Our IV Tours trip to Dark View Falls, Fort Charlotte, and Kingstown was a true 5-star experience from start to finish. The day was perfectly paced, with a great mix of natural beauty, history, local culture, and plenty of time to take it all in. Dark View Falls was breathtaking and refreshing, Fort Charlotte gave us amazing views and insight into the island, and Kingstown added the perfect local flavor.Although Wallilabou was closed, our guide still provided first-hand Pirates of the Caribbean information, which made that part of the experience feel special and memorable.IV Tours made everything easy, comfortable, and enjoyable. The guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and clearly proud to share St. Vincent with visitors. It never felt rushed or overly touristy, just a well-planned, memorable day exploring some of the island’s best spots. If you’re wondering whether to book this tour, do it. It was one of the highlights of our trip and a fantastic way to experience St. Vincent. Highly recommended! We left the tour feeling like we made a lifelong friend.

When coming to St Vincent & the Grenadines…..IV Tours is the ultimate experience! The Darkview falls were rejuvenating and refreshing. Once again Ruff is very informative with explanations of where the water source is, the amount of falls and the pressure/force of the waterfalls (very important). Additionally you do not need to worry about photos and videos as Ruff being in professional production, he's very willing and capable of snapping and capturing some breathtaking imagery enabling you to cherish your moments for a lifetime. Most importantly a safe, cautious and respectful driver, Ruff and IV Tours is an unforgettable package. Definitely worth every penny, a 10/10 experience surely.

The best tour ever! Very informative and professional!

Best tour of pirates of the Caribbean that you could ask for. He knew everything about the movie and the set, really made you feel like you are in the movie itself.

When coming to St Vincent & the Grenadines…..IV Tours is the ultimate experience! The tour guide Ruff was exceptional as he was very professional while being very sociable and engaging. The Pirates of the Caribbean tour was very interesting and informative due to Ruff’s first hand experience and knowledge of the film which he gained by actually being a member of the camera production crew for the movie. Many insights you can only receive on IV Tours when you visit the birthplace of one of the biggest Hollywood movie franchises. The Darkview falls were rejuvenating and refreshing. I shouldn't have to say this cause it's obvious but I'll say it for the people that don't know as yet, this tour was everything you could possibly want on a vacation/relaxation time with most majestic beautiful scenery. Me,my daughter along with some others had the most wonderful time on this tour it's a must to try.....big up to Ruff the Boss man. Miss out on this and blame yaself.

Look no further than this amazing tour! This man went above and beyond for us, he took lots of photos of us and walked us all over the set, telling us stories about his time on set. He’s a wonderful person, kind, and very informative able the island! It was fun to get insight on my favorite movie series! The sights were breathtaking and worth the price! Book with him!!! You won’t regret it!

If you're visiting St. Vincent, stop what you're doing and contact Ruff at IV Tours — he is, without exaggeration, the reason my friend and I came to St. Vincent in the first place, and he exceeded every expectation. We booked the Pirates of the Caribbean Wallilabou & Buccament Beach tour, and from start to finish it was the most personal, private, and memorable experience I've ever had on a trip. We even dressed up as pirates for the occasion! Ruff took us through so many stunning areas of the island, sharing rich history and local culture every step of the way.At Wallilabou — the iconic filming location of Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl — Ruff truly shines. As the ONLY local who actually worked on the POTC set, he has an insider knowledge that you simply cannot get anywhere else. As a die-hard Pirates fan, I thought I knew everything about those films. I was wrong. The stories and behind-the-scenes facts he shared blew my mind. And because he's also a professional photographer, he captured the most incredible photos of us at the location — we're still arguing over our favorites. The personal touches made it extra special: he made us homemade ginger beer and picked up fresh watermelon along the way. We also visited Fort Charlotte, where his historical knowledge was outstanding, and he even took us by a local art gallery. The next day, he drove us to the ferry for our trip to Bequia and loaded us up with tips to make the most of our visit.Ruff does it all — tours, transfers, photography, you name it. He's funny, warm, endlessly knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in giving you the best experience possible. We had the absolute time of our lives.Do not visit St. Vincent without reaching out to IV Tours. You'll thank yourself later. 🏴‍☠️

Bring some water shoes, a towel and change of clothes for this adventurous tour. You will have an excellent time, driving through the scenic island and then seeing the amazing falls. Very fun and exciting day.

Very friendly guide who gives bcp explanations about his island, and shares anecdotes of his experience on the shooting Pirates of the Caribbean! The Island is splendid and the tour allows you to discover it. Little to see on the Pirates of the Caribbean website but compensated by the anecdotes told! Wifi available which is not negligible 😉

Great experience with Boycie & DaleNew modern van took us on our excursion Boycie was the driver and Dale was the Tour guide. Both were nice characters and informative and helpful along the wayWe went to the Pirates of the Caribbean set and a small waterfall at a Heritage Park nearby before we headed onto the beach next to sandals which was rather small but still nice to have a stop and rest for an hour. There was only our two families on the Tour and it was a nice experience, Dale offered us fruit water and a local ginger punch, which was nice.We did pay $2 per person to enter the Pirates of the Caribbean and $2 per person to enter the waterfall at the Heritage Park. Both are very proud of the island and took us on a little tour around the different parts and villages seeing the industrial zone and where they live, etcOverall, a great tour with two God hosts to see St. Vincent.
