A group of 4 of us booked a Ring of Kerry tour with Mary, and we couldn’t be happier. She picked us up in a Mercedes mini-van- which was a little tight for the person in the back seat but very comfortable for 3. Mary is very knowledgeable on the area, she pointed out deer grazing, knew where the old castles and round houses from ancient times were, and accommodated our desire to focus on geological wonders like the Cliffs of Kerry, some waterfalls, and beautiful mountains and landscapes of this part of Ireland. She knew the hidden spots and was a masterful driver of the narrow Irish roads. If your’e looking for a tour to see the highlights of the Ring of Kerry, Mary is your guide.

Our Ring of Kerry tour with Ted was one of the highlights of our trip to Ireland! He was communicative, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable about County Kerry and the Ring of Kerry. He was also such a great person to spend the day with — funny, easy to talk to, and full of interesting stories and fun facts. He took us to some amazing places, including Valentia Island, the Kerry Cliffs, and Kells Sheepdogs, along with plenty of other great stops. The whole experience felt personal and thoughtfully planned, and we really felt like we got to see the best of the Ring of Kerry. It’s clear that Ted genuinely cares about making the experience memorable for his guests. We’d recommend him to anyone visiting County Kerry. Five stars!

Ted was a great host. He shared a lot of stories, history and took us to some amazing places! The Ring of Kerry exceeded our expectations! We highly recommend this tour to anyone traveling here for the first time. We are also glad we decided to not drive this ourselves….the roads are very windy and not having to drive gave everyone an opportunity to see the beautiful landscape.

It is a small boat and not the bus like boat. The gentleman operating the boat was so lovely and informative.

This was our very first trip to Ireland, and we truly couldn’t have asked for a better way to experience the Ring of Kerry than with Mary G Tours! From the moment Mary picked us up, she made us feel welcome and comfortable. She is warm, personable, and incredibly knowledgeable. The scenery is absolutely breathtaking, but what made the day unforgettable were the stories, history and local insights Mary shared along the way. Without her, we would have seen beautiful places, but we never would have truly understood or appreciated them.During our tour we saw Dingle Bay, the Cliffs of Kerry, Skellig Chocolate, the Gap of Dunloe, the Purple Mountain blanketed in heather, the beautiful Black Valley, the Upper Lake in Killarney National Park, Torc Waterfall and several other hidden gems with scenic stops we never would have discovered on our own.Mary’s passion for Ireland is contagious, and her love for sharing its beauty and history made this one of the absolute highlights of our vacation. Two wonderful days touring from Killarney with MaryG. Mary is a native of the area and has extensive geographic and historical knowledge. Several factors come together to make this a memorable great trip - Mary is patient, accommodating, and a good safe driver. Definitely would recommend her.

Fabulous morning on the water. Our guide Daniel was hilarious and informative. We were able to book a trip up and back with him as we did not want to walk back so we had extra time on the water. Very pleased with this tour and so glad we booked.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An Absolute Gem — Do Not Visit Ireland Without Booking Mary G ToursWhere do I begin? Mary G Tours was without question the single best decision we made during our entire trip to Ireland. We booked through Cool Destinations for the Dingle Peninsula full loop tour, and I cannot overstate how exceptional the experience was.Mary is one of those rare guides who clearly loves what she does. From the moment she picked us up, she was warm, engaging, and bursting with knowledge — not just the rehearsed facts you’d get from a tour bus, but real, deep, fascinating stories about the landscape, the history, the people, and the culture of the Dingle Peninsula. She made every stop feel alive. The full loop is stunning on its own — the scenery is breathtaking — but Mary elevated it to something truly unforgettable. She knew exactly where to stop, when to linger, and when to let the views speak for themselves. She peppered the drive with local lore, Irish history, and personal insight that you simply cannot get from a guidebook or a GPS tour.If you’re visiting Kerry or the Dingle area and you’re on the fence about booking a private tour, stop deliberating and book Mary G Tours right now. 10 out of 10. She set the bar for what a tour guide should be, and I’d recommend her without a single hesitation to anyone — from first-time visitors to seasoned Ireland travelers.Mary, thank you for making our day in Dingle one we’ll talk about for years. You are the real deal.

Mary G went above and beyond what was expected! She was patient with our individual needs and questions and was a wealth of knowledge. She taught us a lot about the history of Ireland as we were driving as well as the local expressions. She was very flexible and stopped if we needed to get something from the pharmacy or mail a postcard We gave her a general idea of what we wanted to see in the Killarney, ring of Kerry, Dingle, Galway areas, and we spent four full days with her She joined us for some of the areas while educating us on the details of the history and other times we went off on her own, and she waited for us to return from our hike or adventure, such as the cliffs of Moher We took a train from Dublin and she picked us up in Cork, took us to the woolen Mills and then over to Killarney, which is the area that she lives so she knows it very well She has a great sense of humor and a very comfortable car ! I had found her recommendations in a blog and in Cool Destinations. We were very pleased and felt very well taken care of! Highly recommend Mary G!

Very long day but it was a good time. Ted knew everything and everyone and going to his island and seeing his home, where he grew up was lovely. It felt like we were visiting a long lost friend, we felt very cared for.

Mary was absolutely wonderful! Everything we saw on our tour was stunning, and the experience was made even better by her incredible knowledge of the area's history, along with her personal stories about growing up there. Those stories added a unique and authentic touch that you simply wouldn't get on most tours. We also got to see and experience places that most other tours don't include. I would highly recommend Mary to anyone looking for an unforgettable and personalized tour experience.

Our private guided tour of the Ring of Kerry was hands-down the highlight of our entire Ireland trip. From start to finish, it was a truly unforgettable experience. Mary was an exceptional guide - warm, engaging, incredibly knowledgeable, and an absolute pleasure to spend the day with. Her passion for the area was evident in every story she shared, and we especially loved learning about Killarney's rich history through her fascinating insights and local knowledge. She brought the region to life in a way that no guidebook ever could. The scenery along the Ring of Kerry speaks for itself - simply breathtaking - every turn revealed another otherworldly view. Between the spectacular landscapes and Mary's wonderful commentary, the entire day felt magical. This tour exceeded all expectations. If you're visiting Kerry, do yourself a favor and book this tour. If you're wondering if it's worth the investment let me be clear - a thousand times yes. Thank you, Mary, for making our trip so special!

This is a great little boat tour to Innisfallen Island and back from Ross Castle. Fergus plus his four legged companion, navigated us along the edge of the lake, just out from the shore, giving us time to look for wildlife amongst the reed bed and appreciate the beauty of the surroundings. Fergus provided information about rock formations and various things but didn’t overload us with information. Everything was relaxed and peaceful. The island was once a monastery and was very tranquil with lots of bird song and wild flowers. An abundance of foxgloves was about to bloom, so if you visit in later May you may get to see them. The island contains some interesting ruins from the monastery that you can explore and there is a short circular walk around the island providing more amazing views. On the far side of the island we came across two groups of deer feeding. They were quite chilled about our presence and didn’t run off as we approached, so we got to observe them for a really long time. Fergus was relaxed about time on the island and just said return when you have seen enough. So chilled.

I would highly recommend the private tour with Ted Kennedy for anyone who wants to see the Ring of Kerry. Ted knew so much about every place we went. had great stories and everyone along the way knew him! The tour was fantastic and he took us to places we also asked for as well as places that other tours probably don't go or have access to. It was one of the best parts of our 2 week vacation in Ireland!

Mary was great - lots of information and lots of personal stories made for a very interesting day! We worth every penny. She knew all the best places for amazing views.
