Interesting, and the guide was very informative. I would recommend FOTA house. The only issue we had was we went for coffee in the café before the tour and we waited ages for our coffees and snacks.

After almost two weeks in Ireland, this was by far one of the highlights of my trip. Conor was an incredible storyteller and guide, and the hike itself was absolutely breathtaking. I learned so much about Ireland, its history, and Irish culture, and came away with an experience I’ll never forget. If you’re thinking about doing something with Gormú or Conor, don’t hesitate. Just do it! You won’t regret it.

This was by far the best bus tour we have taken. Our bus driver, Kevin, was so gracious, kind, knowledgeable and safe. I am so glad we chose not to drive ourselves. I don't think I could have done it! The Ring of Kerry is not to be missed if you go to Ireland. Killarney is a wonderful city. So much more to see and do.

This boat cruise was an amazing experience from start to finish. It was a lovely tour of the beautiful Kinsale Harbour on an incredible sunny day in September. Seeing the sea otters out on the shore and then move closer to us was amazing. The staff was very friend informative. A must do experience in Kinsale. Marg and Jim (Canada)

We honestly cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience with Conor. Our hike to see the Tow Head cliffs has become, without a doubt, our favorite part of our trip — and we have been talking about it nonstop ever since!Conor was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about the area. Along the way, he shared the history of the sites and the surrounding area, as well as stories and folklore that brought everything to life. It felt like we weren’t just taking a hike; we were being welcomed into the history and stories of the place.The walk itself was easy and absolutely beautiful, but what made the experience truly special was everything that happened along the way. At the end of the hike, we sat on the beach and enjoyed cookies and tea that Conor and his wife had thoughtfully provided. It was such a simple gesture, but it made the experience feel incredibly personal and welcoming.And then, as if the day couldn’t get any better, a neighborhood farm dog joined us on the beach! He clearly knew Conor well and was so friendly — the perfect, unexpected cherry on top of an already amazing experience.Conor made this hike so much more than a sightseeing excursion. It was relaxing, memorable, personal, and filled with beautiful scenery, history, stories, and genuine Irish hospitality. We will remember this experience for a very long time and would absolutely recommend Conor to anyone visiting the area. If you’re considering booking a tour with him, do it — you won’t regret it!

It is a great way to see Kinsale and get a little history on the area. The staff was very knowledgable and friendly

Wonderful arboretum even on a damp drizzly morning. Saw a red squirrel which made me happy and some superb trees. The gardens were also lovely. The house was interesting and there was lots to see but I didn't learn much that I didn't know. The guided tour was slightly repetitive and a lot of the information a bit obvious. The cafe service was extremely slow although the setting was pleasant and the food and coffee good when it eventually came.

We booked the sunrise sauna and swim, and it was absolutely a highlight of our trip--possibly of our lives. We were lucky: the day was perfect, the water exceptionally still. Conor was the most gracious and entertaining host. We walked upstream to get water for the sauna, then went into the Atlantic straightaway and again after each heated ritual in the sauna. This invigorating and healing experience was heightened by Conor's wonderful stories and delicious breakfast afterward. Do not hesitate!. Book this visit now. Or any activity with Gormu! You will never forget it.

Wonderful afternoon with Ruth touring along the Kinsale coast! Everything top notch and Ruth is a safe, competent and fun guide!

We try to get out of the touristy areas and see some countryside and ebikes are a great way to do it. Ruth was a great guide taking us along some rural roads and explaining some of the local lifestyle. The bikes were well maintained, easy to use. Even though you will see some local traffic, the Irish are accustomed to safely maneuvering around walkers and bikers and Ruth was great at giving us instructions when and where we needed to pull off for traffic. Highly recommend Ruth and this bike trip.

Really enjoyable experience. Interesting stories about the area, lovely swim, nice breakfast. There was an option of a wetsuit, which I took and was delighted with. Kept me warm for the 20-25 mins we were in the water. Appreciated the float provided too, made it easy to just float and relax in the water at times and take in the beautiful calm morning we had.

Thanks to this tour, we experienced southwestern Ireland’s natural beauty beyond the cities. The transportation was comfortable, the guide was skilled at blending local folklore with historical facts.

This tour was everything we hoped it would be.
