Top Cork Half-day Tours

Our guide was Kerry, such an amazing, lovely, knowledgeable and enthusiastic person! She told us of the history of Cork and its old canals that made it known as the Venice of Ireland. Those canals are now the streets and alleys of Cork, which gives the city a quaint character. The English Market was amazing, with great samples of seafood and chocolate. We ended the tour at a lovely pub where we enjoyed cheeses and shared stories. A definite ‘must do’ in Cork!

Most of this tour is the trip up to Blarney Castle. The Castle, grounds and Blarney house are beautiful. You have to wait in line to kiss the Blarney stone which is at the top of the castle, so get in line as soon as you arrive and beat the crowds. That will give you time to explore the other sites there as well.

Book the bike tour of Kinsale with Smiley Miley! He knows the area well and will guide you safely, taking you to the best spots for breaks and photos. He is a colorful character with a keen knowledge of the area. Three hours with Miley was a great experience and our whole family loved it!

The tour with Miley was awesome. He led us through Kinsale, providing a high-level history lesson and stopping at perfect vantage points looking over the enchanting village of Kinsale. The compact e-bikes that he uses are also great. They are nimble while still being powerful.

Kerry our guide was the best!!! She was personable, actually very funny, and knowledgeable. She chose the best local places and food! Highly recommend

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fantastic Private Tour from Cobh!Sean was an outstanding guide from start to finish. He picked us up right at our cruise ship in Cobh and was there early, which was a great way to start the day.He took us to some of the best sights around Cork and Kinsale. For me, the highlight was Old Head of Kinsale. The views from the cliffs were absolutely amazing and easily one of the most beautiful sights of our trip.Sean also took us somewhere I had never heard of before, the Kinsale 9/11 Garden of Remembrance. This was an incredibly moving stop. The garden was created in memory of the firefighters who lost their lives on September 11, with a tree planted in remembrance of each one. It is a place I think more people should know about and, in my opinion, an absolute must-see. 🇺🇸🇮🇪Sean timed our day perfectly. We even had enough time to stop for a pint at Kitty O'Se's in Kinsale, where we met some great local people and really enjoyed chatting with them. 🍺☘️From there, Sean made sure we arrived on time for our pre-booked Jameson Distillery tour in Midleton. What really impressed us was that Sean waited for us while we did the entire Jameson tour. When we finished, he was right there ready to take us back to Cobh and got us back to our cruise ship with plenty of time to spare. As cruise passengers, having that peace of mind was huge. We never had to worry about the clock or getting back to the ship on time. The entire day was relaxed and never felt rushed. Sean was professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and knew exactly how to make the most of the time we had in port.If you're arriving in Cobh on a cruise and want to really experience Cork and the surrounding area instead of spending your day packed onto a big tour bus, I highly recommend Sean's Private Tours.Thank you, Sean, for an incredible day. This was definitely one of the highlights of our cruise! 🚢☘️🇮🇪

We took a family trip last Saturday with a very special request — to place our loved one’s ashes into the water. This was an emotional moment for all of us, and it was handled with such care, respect, and kindness. He guided us gently through every step and created a peaceful, beautiful atmosphere that made the moment feel just right. The compassion, professionalism, and understanding he showed meant more than words can say. It wasn’t just a trip; it was a meaningful family experience we will always remember. Highly recommended.

We did this tour directly from our hotel at Inchydoney . The tour guide was excellent. The route was brilliant. We did it with our young daughter who loved it and they took us to places that we couldn't have gone by ourselves. We wouldn't have known to go. The e-bikes are brilliant. Great quality. Highly recommend it

Excellent morning on the water! Brian was amazing ! Very knowledgeable! He was so kind to include the kids in everything too! Exceptional time for us! So glad the sun came out too! Thank you to Brian and of course Iggy.(dog was a bonus!)

We had a wonderful day with Sean. He was friendly, professional and extremely knowledgeable about the history of Ireland and the places we visited. He communicated well prior to the tour and provided us with information and suggestions for the remainder of our trip. I highly recommend Sean.

Conor took our familiy on a guided walk , he kept all age groups entertained , it was really fabulous with the added bonus of storytelling and coffee and home made biscuits at the end , we would highly recommend this for all ages. If we had attempted this on our own we would have only made it part of the way with lots of bickering.!Aoife and family

I cannot recommend Gormú Bike Tours enough! It ended up being just the two of us - so we got a personalized tour -skipping things we had already done and adding in others things instead. Celine was a delightful guide - looked after us really well, guaged our abilities and a fount of information and entertainment! Actually wouldn't mind doing one of their swimming g and sauna trips either!! Next time! Oh - and the bikes were the BEST! Belt technology! No clunky gears!

To Celine & Conor,Thank ye very much for last nights bioluminescent experience. It was a very special night that will live long in the memory. The Gormú experience was personal, professional, safe and inspirational to see the work ye put into the business. Well done to you both, it is a credit to ye.Looking forward to doing another trip with ye 😃Johnny & Ciara

I can highly recommend this trip, everyone from the captian of the boat, crew and staff on the ground were so informative, helpful and pleasant. The lighthouse is amazing to see and seeing wildlife along the way was an added bonus. Thank you to all

Excellent experience and amazing trip. Highly recommend taking this trip from Baltimore in west Cork.

Sean gave us a 5 Star tour of Cork and Cobh. He was very knowledgeable about everything that he showed us. The 9-11 memorial was very impressive and moving. The church was very beautiful and very interesting. The port was impressive. The views that he showed us were very impressive. He is very knowledgeable about everything he showed us. As we were traveling along Sean played the Parting Cup, a very beautiful song. I would HIGHLY recommend Sean and would definitely use Sean again if we come back to Cork and Cobh.
