Top Cabarete Horseback Riding

Before our trip, I compared many companies offering similar ATV and horseback riding excursions in Puerto Plata. After a lot of research, I chose Country World Adventure, and I’m very happy that I made the right decision. We were a family of five traveling from a cruise ship, and this excursion was one of the highlights of our trip. One of the things that stood out was that they provided complimentary lunch and bottled water. For larger families or groups, this is a great bonus and helps reduce overall travel expenses. Before booking, we planned to spend some time in Puerto Plata town after the excursion to take photos and explore the area. Because of this, we needed to return to the cruise port a little earlier than the standard schedule. I contacted Country World Adventure in advance, and they always responded promptly to my emails. They were very accommodating and arranged for us to return to the port earlier as requested. The entire excursion was well organized, and the ATV ride and horseback riding were both enjoyable and suitable for different experience levels. The staff was friendly, professional, and made us feel welcome throughout the day.Everything went smoothly from start to finish. Their excellent communication, flexibility, and attention to customer needs made a big difference and allowed us to make the most of our limited time in Puerto Plata.I highly recommend Country World Adventure to anyone looking for a reliable, well-organized, and enjoyable shore excursion experience. If we return to Puerto Plata in the future, we would not hesitate to book with them again.

Great guides and beautiful beaches. Perfect family outing!

Was a nice outing for my Bday!!

The whole experience was wonderful, the guides were all very helpful & friendly & the views were fantastic. We had a group of 6 and we had a blast. The zip lines were fun & the 6th zip had the best views. The trip down the creek bed on ATVs was a blast & the stop we made in town on the to try the local coffee, cocoa beans, mamawana & local fresh fruit was a great experience! Finally the horses were well behaved, though that ride didn't come with to much views and was rather short. It was fun to watch my kids light up with joy over the horses. The lunch provided was also delicious. I highly recommend doing this trip if you visit Dominican we arrived by cruise ship at Amber cove & they got us back with a little time to spare.

This was one of the memorable and fun excursion my fiancée and I have done the past couple of years. It’s our first time in Puerta Plata, Dominican Republic and it won’t be our last. Tony and Juan were our guides. They made sure we understood the guidelines and kept us safe. I absolutely love them! Very down to earth and professional. They pick you up at your resort or Airbnb. They start at 8:00 am picking up groups and it goes till 4:30 pm. You start off hiking the waterfalls. There is an incline so make sure to pack good water/walking shoes. Also is it required to wear helmets and life jacket/vest which the park provides. Once you are there, you can either jump, go down the slide or ladder. After that we drove to another location to have lunch. The food was pretty good! They provide beverages and water. After that, we went to a store which they sold gifts. There you will learn about the Dominican Republic. Then we proceeded to did the horseback riding and zip lining out in the mountains/country. All were super fun and beautiful scenic views! This is worth the experience!

The experience was WELL worth the money! The crew was professional and courteous! I did the ZIPlines, horses, abd ATV and was blown away by the level of fun and organization !!! I will do it again

The entire trip was great, started with Damagajua falls, then lunch, followed by the ziplines, horseback and then ATVs.. nothing was rushed, especially the ATVs, we drove around the backwoods, rivers , and town.. literally the longest and best ATV excursion I've ever been on.. 100% worth every penny..

The tour was amazing, started at Damajagua waterfalls which was beautiful, then returned for a Dominican style lunch which was amazing, food was great and it was buffet style..Then we did the 8 ziplines which were fun ,the horseback riding which was about 45 minutes ( the horses are very well trained but if your not used to the galloping, ur hips and butt will be sore...lol) overall it was a great experience,, we then ended with the ATVs.. Definitely my favorite, we drove thru backwoods, rivers, then hit the streets and went thru the town, stopped for some rum and souvenirs before heading back .. The ride went on for about 1.5 hours.. 100% satisfaction and since it was only my son and I we got to really let loose and hit the gas...the entire tour was amazing, the staff was friendly and the food was great.. I highly recommend it.. worth the money and time..

this was super fun! pick up/drop off was easy and convenient. staff was kind and helpful. lunch was tasty and filling. after the excursions we had the option of walking around to see the animals or swim in the pool; it was nice that we weren't rushed off after everything was done. ATV tour was well worth the money; views were great and we went through all kinds of terrain. horses were a nice change of pace, slow and relaxing. the guides and photographers were great too. no complaints.

Our family of six had a wonderful experience with Anthony’s Info Tours on the Horseback Riding Adventure from Jungle to Beach. My husband and I traveled with our four kids (ages 11, 9, 7, and 6), and it ended up being one of the highlights of our stop on the island. After walking off our cruise ship and exiting the port area, we easily met a member of Anthony’s team just outside the cruise entrance. Everything was well organized from there. Pepo picked us up and drove us into the jungle where the horses were waiting. The team was ready for us when we arrived, helmets were provided and they helped everyone get comfortably settled on their horses, which was especially reassuring with younger kids. They even had 2 younger helpers that rode with our 2 youngest kids which brought us a lot of comfort. The ride through the jungle and down to the beach was beautiful and felt like a really immersive way to experience the island. Our kids absolutely loved it. Once we reached the beach, we stopped for lunch. The snapper fish was fantastic, definitely a highlight of the meal. The piña coladas weren’t our favorite, but the overall experience and setting more than made up for it.One of the guides also took photos during the ride and offered them for purchase afterward. We didn’t end up buying them, but it was nice to have the option.Communication with Anthony before and during the excursion was excellent. On the way back, Pepo even stopped at an ATM so we could get cash to tip the team, which we appreciated. If I had one suggestion, it would be to plan ahead for tips or possibly include them in the booking price. We paid $450 through Cool Destinations for the excursion and tipped $100 in cash. Photos were available for $60. Lunch was $60 cash, no credit cards were accepted.Overall, this was a fantastic family-friendly adventure. Our kids had a blast, the team was kind and helpful, and it was a memorable way to explore the island beyond the cruise port. We’d absolutely recommend it to other families looking for a unique and active shore excursion.

Lovely riding tour in both rainforest and beach. The horses were nice and the saddles comfortable 😅. Helmets didn't exist, which might be good to know.

They are so wonderful. It was so exhilarating. They’re so peaceful and took time with everybody to make sure everyone had a great time. Nobody was in a hurry. The whole group had such an exciting exhilarating adventure from zip line to horseback riding to the ATV quad. it was a full day of fun

Great! The whole team was wonderful, especially Melvin and Rosairy! They did everything great and the food at the end was 10/10!

It was the best experience ever. The staff went over the top. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. I love how excited and happy they were to see us enjoying their country. The lunch was delicious. We had an amazing time.

This was definitely worth the money time and full of great memories. My wife and I signed up for the zip lines ,atv and horse riding. The staff was amazing from the moment we arrived. They welcomed us with open arms and gave us all the attention, instructions and what we would be expecting. We started with the zip lines, the crew working the cables and ensuring everything went perfectly smoothly were professional and very helpful and understanding that not everyone was really ready for what was signed up for. My wife was very nervous and they explained everything so well that she was able to do all the levels of the course. We both had so much fun, the workout to each different stage got more difficult but the gave us encouragement and had us moving with no problem. The horse riding was very fun, especially being my first time ever riding a horse. The views were incredible and the horses were well trained and friendly. Then was the food, the ladies a typical Dominican meal, which was like mom cooks. The taste of the food incredible. Last the ATV ride we road through the town and back roads, through water. Incredible scenery. They took us to a shop that gave us coffee and sample of mama Juana . Al in all the service the adventure and the memories were well worth it. Thanks you all for the memories you have given us on this trip. I definitely recommend this company for memories and fun with your family. I will definitely be looking these company up on our next trip out to puerto plata .
