We spent 3 weeks in Asia and this was literally the highlight of the entire trip for our teenagers. You get a tour of all the different plants you'll be using in the dishes you'll be eating, and then make several dishes that then all taste amazing.It does take a bit until you actually eat, but the area you'll be cooking in is gorgeous and it was so much fun. Made some red duck curry, fried chicken, fish, and Pad Kra Pao. And get the recipes afterwards. Water is free and beers were 100 baht a bottle while you cook.So if you're looking for a cooking class on Koh Samui then I'd highly recommend it. It's a bit pricey but worth it.

Amazing cooking class, started with a visit to the vegetable garden, then moved to start the dishes preparation . Each person had a station and prepared the same dish for himself. The pace was very good, and Tom and Lin were great with explaining the whole journey. The food was delicious. Getting there was also easy as they offer help with transport to and from the location of the cooking class.

A lovely evening, nice tour of the garden and home grown produce. Lin was a great cook and teacher, she explained what and why the ingredients were being used, showed us the techniques for preparing everything, and explained the traditional cooking methods we were using. We made three delicious dishes and enjoyed sitting down to eat them after a very hot few hours cooking. Yum!!

What a great experience. Very informative and delicious food. You will feel like a MasterChef. Tom and his wife are lovely hosts and great photographers also.

I am no cook but I love Thai food and the evening spent at the Jungle Kitchen was amazing in many ways, firstly what a wonderful setting with great views, the hosts Tom and Lin amazing the pair of them so welcoming, Tom introduced us to the gardens full of ingredients, Lin and her team introduced us to the world of cooking Thai even the experienced cooks in attendance would have gone home learning something from her, personally I left feeling as if I can cook but most importantly I had a great night in great company, Thank you to every one at Jungle Kitchen.

Our evening at Tom and Lin’s home and the home of the Jungle Kitchen and organic garden was worth every penny we spent on this excursion. Tom is a wonderful host and world traveller, Lin a patient, gifted chef in her own right. Their kitchen is spectacular, the cooking course is clear, (very) organized and you really get a feel of the authentic organic nature of the place both in the creating and preparing the meal from beginning to end. The ingredients for the meal are mostly from their organic, sustainable garden and/or farm. The difference from other cooking classes is the location and the understanding of authentic Thai preparation and cooking. Cooking on open flame while looking over the jungle at the ocean is unforgettable. The rock bar, lol! So great! We highly recommend this experience, you will not regret it. You will make some fantastic meals, meet really interesting and cool people, both quantity to take home and quality and taste that will not be forgotten. Thank you Tom and Lin, we are grateful for the experience and feel privileged to have enjoyed your beautiful home and kitchen, thank you. We had a fun evening touring the garden and learning Thai recipes. The food was one of the best we had in our time in Thailand. We made curry paste from scratch which was very interesting. Come hungry as there was plenty of good! Tom and Lynn were wonderful hosts. We would highly recommend if you are visiting Koh Samui!

I don't often post reviews, but this was truly an exceptional experience! Lin is an incredible Thai chef and we really enjoyed cooking with her in the beautiful outdoor kitchen with amazing views. The food was absolutely amazing and it made for an unforgettable evening. Her partner Tom arranged transport, showed us around the grounds/garden, took great photos/videos and entertained us throughout the evening. They were very accommodating when we needed to make a change last minute and even let us make menu requests. If you do only one cooking class while in Thailand - this is the one!

We loved our experience at the jungle cooking class! The property is gorgeous and easy to get to—Tom and his partner are so welcoming and helpful throughout the recipes so skill level doesn’t matter and the food ended up delicious. They were also super generous on transportation to and from as it can be difficult on the island. It was sweet to watch the generosity to a couple in our group who brought an infant and a toddler by keeping them occupied and offering up a sleeping pad for him to rest on. Also the pictures they captured of us are 10/10 and probably will be included in our Christmas card! Thanks for hosting us and highly recommending not thinking twice about signing up for this tour, you won’t want to miss it.

Fantastic experience. Tom, our gracious host, took us around the beautiful property and gardens to learn about the ingredients we cooked with. The views from the outdoor kitchen were breathtaking. Highly recommend this for families and friends groups.

A great experience and fabulous hospitality from Tom, Lin and the team. Food was absolutely delicious and the setting was beautiful. We were a family of four with 2 kids (11 and 13) and the class was a perfect way to spend an evening on our Samui holiday.

The setting is beautiful, with a unique atmosphere, an incredible view, and a vibe that makes you feel comfortable right from the start. Tom and Lin are a big part of the experience. They were extremely friendly and welcoming, and truly shared what this fascinating culture has to offer. The relaxed chat over a few glasses of good wine was a wonderful bonus that, on its own, already made the visit worthwhile. The food, for me—after five visits to the island—was some of the most authentic and flavorful I’ve had in Thailand. Real Thai comfort food. We spent a fabulous evening with 2 other couples (who we didn't know before) learning how to cook in an authentic traditional Thai style. Tom and Lin have a lovely open-plan house and stunning garden. Tom took us around the garden to cultivate the vegetables, fruits and herbs that we would be using that night to cook our 3-course dinner. Lin then took over to show us how to cook the various dishes and we all cooked our one individual helpings (adjusted slightly for food preferences). Everything we ate was tasty and the whole evening flew by. We were meant to be there from 5-9pm but at 10pm Tom suggested it was probably time to call a taxi! I would highly recommend this even for fussy eaters like myself!

I can’t praise this class enough! My husband and I have been to several cooking class throughout the US, Europe, and went to one in Chiang Mai. This class is by far the best cooking class we have ever done! It was so much more than learning to cook traditional Thai dishes. It was an experience! Tom and Lin were amazing hosts! Tom captured the whole night on camera and shared the pictures and Lin did an amazing job leading the group through each recipe! Not to mention everything we made was so delicious! We even got to suggest what we would like to make and Tom and Lin used the suggestions to come up with the menu for the night. Do not think twice about this class! Book it now. I would even book it several nights if you are in Koh Samui long enough!
