Great tour, mainly because of the tour guide Asier. He gave us great information during the whole tour (in English and Spanish), all was well organized and even helped me with my travel arrangements after the tour. I did the "From Bilbao: Gaztelugatxe, Mundaka, and Guernica Tour". Totally recommended unless you have issues walking. Still Asier gave other walk options for those that couldn't walk all the way to Gaztelugatxe (Dragonstone). Beautiful hike. Asier came with us all the way but he will let you go by yourself on your own rhythm.Loved the tour and tour guide! thanks!

An excellent break at Hopton, Friday to Monday. Meals were brilliant, plenty of variety, and we were looked after by a lovely waitress, we have 3 meals each day, but could have had supper if we wanted. The bungalow was lovely and clean and we could see the sea from our door. The entertainment was first class, London standard. All the staff looked after us so well, nothing was too much trouble. We'll be back - getting to be regulars now.

I tried surfing for the first time as a solo traveler, the men at the front desk were so helpful and kind…the surfing instructor was very professional, supportive and patient…the photographer captured some lovely memories, this was very helpful so you can focus and not worry about leaving your phone on the sand- the process of collecting the photos was quick, simple and fair in price; I would definitely recommend this surf school and I can’t wait to return!

We had a wonderful time traveling to the National Parks with Jose Luis. He showed us so many beautiful places that Bizkaia has to offer-mountains and forests, towns and churches and we even got to see some animals. The entire day was enjoyable, the conversation was great and we learned a lot too. Jose was the perfect guide for the day!

This is an alternative...
This is an alternative destination to the usual coastal attractions. The scenery is stunning , the area is tranquil and not overcrowded and so provides a marvellous experience. Our guide Jose was very welcoming and very informative (without being boring!) We learned alot about the area, the Basque region and its people and so will go away with good memories of our first visit to the country. I highly recommend this trip to anyone visiting this area.

Definitely take the time to spend an hour at the Cat Cafe! It's a great break from busy old town or the Guggenheim, and you are helping a local rescue group that helps homeless cats. Their drink menu is extensive - beer, wine, soda, coffee, tea, and sweet treat drinks like the batida de chocolate that I enjoyed.

We visited this small, peaceful cafe and chilled out with the cats. There were about five cats there but very few people so plenty of opportunities to interact with the cats. They were a mixture of rescue cats and resident house cats who all seemed happy and well cared for. The cafe is run by a rescue organisation and had an enthusiastic member of staff on hand. There were plenty of cold and hot drinks available. A lovely destination for 30-60 minutes.

Awesome experience with superb service
Most awesome experience and the team who organised it couldn’t be more helpful and kind. Our youngest was 9 and we went upto age 46 and all of us thoroughly enjoyed it. Unfortunately the weather turned in the end and one of the lighter kids couldn’t jump as too windy and rain came in too. They took us back to their headquarters in their vans and gave her a simulator experience where they train the solo jumpers and she loved it!! Was just like the real thing. We all got videos etc. just can’t recommend enough!!
