Top Belgium Classes & Workshops

Absolutely loved it! It was so much fun! A must do in Brugge!

I've done a lot of tours and workshops in my time, but none have even come close to this experience! First of all, Richard is an excellent teacher and encouraging cheerleader, besides being incredibly friendly. The process itself was creative and fun. All the instructions were very clear and we were given the chance to practice stamping and hammering to get an idea of how the final product was going to look before embarking on the actual process. It's such an enjoyable 3 hours and you leave with a personal keepsake besides. Absolutely worth the fee and then some! Thanks!

We had so much fun. I'm not a painter, but I did a pretty goid job, if I say so myself. My instructors were pleased.

Great couples activity, creative and enjoyable. Welcoming host, memorable experience 🎨. It is a must

Really enjoyed our photo walk with Andy. Lots of ideas about composition and the history and contemporary culture of Bruges. It was great to see the way that he has approached different subjects. Andy has an easygoing manner and clearly has a great love of Bruges.

What a fun experience - had a good laugh, lots to drink and learnt about the history of Belgium. Highly recommend.

One of the beautiful tour experiences, especially the local hidden old bar, and the distracting coloring activity where I really felt tipsy at the end, with the amazing guide Moses, an excellent speaker, full of charisma, joyful spirit, entertained the group with maximum fulfillment and ended up building a bond of friendship...

What a fabulous tour with Andy! We started our tour at the red door right in the central part of Bruges. Instructions were very clear and it was very easy to find Andy to start our experience. Andy he was very personable and made us feel welcome and excited about learning more about photography. He took us to some really unique places and allowed us to unleash some of our creativity (when three of the four of us were not avid photographers). We loved hearing about the history about Bruges as an added bonus. This made it a very special experience. Thank you Andy for a great afternoon and we will recommend this tour to any of our friends that are coming to Bruges. On a sidenote, we ran into Andy later and got to meet his lovely wife! Serendipity!

I took the "Hidden Brugge" tour and was very informative. Andy definitely knew his photography and local history of Brugge. He had good examples on his ipad and gave good suggestions and critique of pictures immediately taken.

I've taken three private tours with Andy at Photo Tour Brugge over the years. Each time, Andy went above and beyond to make the tour a phenomenal experience. He has always taken took into account my experience level each time, my goals, and my equipment. From the first tour (where he focused on helping me learn the basics of using a mirrorless system) to my most recent tour with him (where he helped me with composition and 'story telling'), he's been wonderful and fun to work with. I appreciate how he takes the time to listen to my questions and goals (including as they change during the tour) and adapt accordingly. I highly recommend doing a photo tour with Photo Tour Brugge!

I visited The Silver Hand in Bruges to make a ring for my 40th birthday, and the whole experience was truly wonderful. The moment we stepped inside, the décor set the mood — beautifully curated, calm, and full of character. Everywhere you looked, there were inspiring pieces and so many creative options for designing your own ring, each one sparking new ideas.Richard is such a kind, gentle and steady man. He listened to our chit‑chat, asked thoughtful and caring questions, and guided us through every step with warmth, patience immense skill and genuine enthusiasm. He explained all the different techniques and possibilities without ever overwhelming us, helping us choose what felt right and what we loved most. His guidance made the whole process feel relaxed, creative and deeply personal. Something went "wrong"? All fixable or just part of the process to embrace. And I have to mention Pappy, his lovely dog — such a sweet companion who added an extra layer of charm to the studio. His presence made the space feel even more welcoming.Highly recommended. A memorable experience with genuinely lovely souls in a truly beautiful setting.

Really great experience. Highly recommend. Making something special from beginning to end is memorable and you have a ring that you will always remember making.

I ran into Marcela when I was looking for a fun and creative activity for our wedding day. We both love wine and admire art. But our painting skills are really like children's.We had chosen one of her reference photos from her website and were so happy that we didn’t have to come up with a subject ourselves. Her creative studio is perfectly located in the hip Dansaert in the heart of Brussels. Marcela immediately made us feel at ease and guided us through the whole process. As a friend, teacher and guide she inspired us throughout the experience. Her words, music and wine made me fully immersed in the process (yes, the wine helped!).
At the end I had painted “Le fils de l'homme” by René Magritte, whereas I had never painted before, except at school! I was cheerfully tipsy and felt that I should have always been a painter.Thank you a thousand times, Marcela, for helping me discover a new hobby. Once or twice a month my husband and I now enjoy our new romantic hobby with a nice bottle of wine. Marcela is like a therapist to us. You're a real legend. We can't wait to rejoin and have a nice glass of wine!

Andy gave my wife and I an amazing tour of beautiful Brugge AND helped us capture some incredible and unique photos of the lesser known parts of town. We learned a little history from a local, got some photo tips, and had a lot of fun on this tour. Highly recommend.

I had a very good time, Charlie and Maria were very, very, very kind and charming, 100 % recomended. The next I'll go to Brussels I'll do again.

Moses was a great guide tour I learned so much from him and had an amazing experience, talking about beers and the history of Belgium 👍🏻
