Trujillo 2026 Calendar of Events

Great way of seeing both the moches and chan chan. No issues with the operational aspect of the tour. We went to the agreed place and the tour did indeed start there. I can highly recommend both attractions.

We asked for an english speaking guide and she was excellent, full of information and enthusiasm. The operators were flexible and helped us out, the remains at the two historical sites are truly amazing, and the reed boats at Huancharo are unique. All in all we enjoyed it a lot and would recommend it.

Interesting tour, very good Spanish speaking Guid, highly recommended if you want to block a little behind the scenes

Despite being late (because of external problems) they were kind enough to wait for me. The guides always showed good attitude and energy, and since I went alone, they helped me take pictures haha. We had a few more incidents during the trip, but it did not spoil my experience.

Our guide Maritza was 10/10. She was knowledgeable and passionate about history- definitely do this tour when in Trujillo!

Everything was amazing, from the sea trip to watch penguins and dolphins to the part we were riding desert dunes at sunset.

Very nice, the guide explained everything to us with the utmost clarity, kind and attentive. I recommend the walk.

It was a pleasant experience, better than I expected in relation to what was Chan Chan and the Huacas, places full of energy, culture and traditions.

The tour explanation did not say it was a long walking tour. Not an issue for us but a number of elders from our ship had trouble. It was 95 degrees and the guide estimated we walked about 3 miles. And the bus did not have working AC. But it was a very educational and enjoyable day.

Fantastic tour to visit the archaeological sites of Trujillo. Marica has a big knowledge about the history and learned us a lot about Moche and Chimu civilization.

This was the best money spent on an all day tour with a lunch break. This was my first time in Trujillo. Olga was a fantastic Spanish speaking tour guide. She is knowledgeable and clearly passionate about history. Bring water and a hat or buy some from local vendors along the way/at various stops.

Very informative tour. Loved learning about the history ofall of the ancient sites. Great photo opportunities too

If you are planning to go to Trujillo it is better to stay on one of those hotel closer to the beach at huanchanco instead to stay in Trujillo downtown it is much more to do according to me! Also the tour in one day is very interesting and the tour guide was marvelous! She has a lot of explanation and she taking care of everybody! Great tour but do not forget to bring money (200soles) a good shoes and a jacket if you are doing the tour during the winter in Pérou!

Great tour. The horse show as unexpected but it was really cool! Some old ruins and some traditions that are still being carried on to their day! Highly recommend.

Maritza was a wonderful tour guide. The tour started on time and was very well organized. As is usual with such providers, there was a bit of driving. Maritza was very knowledgeable and told us exciting facts about the Sun and Moon Temple as well as Chan Chan. Unreservedly recommended!

Chan Chan most unbelievable site I’ve ever seen! Staff was fantastic. Very knowledgeable and friendly.
