Calin provided a very interesting and engaging tour including history and architectural styles of the historical buildings in the old town. Introduction to the traditional food, wine, and beer was delightful and delicious. We would highly recommend Calin and the Oradea food tour.

Calin is very personable and friendly. He gave us a wealth of knowledge so that we could appreciate what we saw and ate and drank all the more. It is a truly unique and must do experience if you want to learn about the people and the history of this lovely city.

My walking tour of Oradea was wonderful! I have been on many similar tours in other cities but Alex made the experience one of the best. Very informative, patient and kind. I had a one on one tour and it was great. It was casual and comfortable, I never felt rushed. Top notch, I would recommend to all .

Alex was an excellent guide. Very knowledgeable about his home town and the history of his country, he walked and talked to enable 3 hours of pure pleasure.

Very well done & truly fascinating, to still see the bones from the killed animals was really interesting. The caves were huge & very well kept. Also it was very easy to walk through the caves & a guide is included in the very low entrance fee. Please go & enjoy it.

He was so kind and genuinely just wonderful to spend the afternoon with, walking around the city, munching on delicious traditional foods, wines, beers and desserts together. Our guide Calin was very knowledgeable about Oradea and we learned so much more about its history and culture. The food and wines were local and traditional and we were introduced to the history of the foods and wine. It was a lovely relaxing afternoon and well worth it. I would recommend this trip.

We spent a very nice afternoon walking on the streets of Oradea and tasting local food, coffee and wine. Calin is a very nice host and knows a lot of things and funny stories about his town.

Oradea is an absolutely beautiful city with so much history. I highly recommend this tour at the beginning of your visit, so that you have guidance and input on where to go, what to do, what exactly you are seeing, etc.Calin is an absolutely exceptional guide, and has a wealth of knowledge and information about the city of Oradea. The meet up location was very easy in the town area, and the history shared is impressive. The restaurant visited during the tour provides an extremely impressive amount of food samples, along with a nice array of wines to taste. The information on the wines is also very impressive. A visit to the fortress, along with the desert and probably best coffee I have ever had in my life (not an exaggeration!!) was a wonderful way to wrap up the tour.Calin has had a very extensive career in the food/wine and hospitality industry, and is again, very knowledgeable. His passion for the city in which he lives, as well as his passion to share his knowledge with the city visitors, is very evident. My only regret is that I did not do the tour earlier in my visit to the city. I cannot recommend this tour enough!
