Oklahoma Travel Guides (Updated September 2026)

This was a great tour for learning history of Tulsa and some of its historical downtown buildings. Our guide Becky wove stories and facts together and pointed out architectural and design intricacies that a casual observer may have passed by. I will look at other older buildings with a new eye for what may have been incorporated. If possible, I would recommend this tour on your first day in Tulsa in case you hear about other city locations you would want to visit. The tour is pretty easy walking with some short stairs and it is not all underground as you might think when you hear tunnels.

We loved this experience! Beautiful architecture. Interesting history. Chrissy was a great tour guide. And she's a real comedian too, so it was funny. Lots of walking and standing but worth it!

I had such a good time at Jonathan's Magic Theater! Jonathan took the time to memorize everyone's name, and he interacted with us throughout the entire night. His performance was family-friendly and still very entertaining for all the adults in the room; I laughed a lot. They had complimentary snacks and beverages available, AND you were allowed to bring in your own drinks - yes, including alcohol. We had a fantastic time, and I certainly recommend it to others who want a fun, intimate, and affordable night out!

Good OK history lesson, includes art. Good view of bricktown restaurants. The guide was very nice and knowledgable. There was one person talking all the time though so wish he had ask riders to not talk! .

We were not certain where to go upon arrival. I think additional signage would be helpful as other families were unsure too. The experience was so fun, filled with much laughter and relaxation (thanks to power assist). The 3 guides were incredible. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and I highly recommend it.

We learned so much about Oklahoma City history. As retired teachers who love social studies, our guide, Sarah, was so knowledgeable and gave us many stories of what had happened in this area. We enjoyed our tour very much.

It was incredible and so educational. Fascinating. Who knew that OKC has such an intense history. I will be be doing research because I was inspired. I LOVED our guide Ryan…super friendly, very patient, informative and professional. Even though we were all different, we all felt like we were heard and every question was answered and more. The Black Wall St. walking Tour was a GREAT lesson to LEARN about the devastation, tragedy and trauma of a well established Black community and its professional people had experienced.

It was a memorable experience and I came away with so much more than I expected. Greenwood Griots goes above and beyond to keep the legacy of the Greenwood District alive.

Sarah is so knowledgeable and has such a rich understanding of local history and culture that it was impossible to not be impressed and appreciate OKC. If you’re visiting, you can’t miss a tour with her. I haven’t learned so much in such a short time since college lectures. Highly highly recommend!

This customized private tour allowed my husband and I to conveniently explore sites with an experienced and knowledgeable guide/driver. We hit all of the major spots: memorial, monuments, historical buildings, and Route 66 highlights. Highly recommend this fabulous tour company!
