★★★★★ A Truly Special Dingle ExperienceOne of the highlights of our time in Dingle was visiting Dingle Crystal.We had the opportunity to meet Sean Daly and watch him create a new piece of crystal during the factory tour. Seeing the process firsthand was fascinating. The skill, patience, and craftsmanship involved in creating each piece is remarkable, and watching Sean work gave us an entirely new appreciation for what goes into every piece of Dingle Crystal.Sean was incredibly welcoming and took the time to talk with us while he worked. It felt less like a typical tourist stop and more like being invited into the workshop of a true Irish craftsman. That personal interaction made the experience even more memorable.There are really two parts to the Dingle Crystal experience. The factory tour gives you the chance to see how the crystal is actually created and cut by hand, while the Dingle Crystal shop in the center of Dingle, located right next to Dick Mack’s, is a wonderful place to see the finished pieces and choose something special to take home.After watching Sean create a piece at the factory, visiting the shop had even more meaning because we understood the work and artistry behind everything on display.For anyone visiting Dingle, I would highly recommend doing both. Visit the factory, meet Sean, watch the craftsmanship firsthand, and then stop into the shop beside Dick Mack’s.This was one of those authentic Irish experiences that made our trip so special and one we will definitely remember.Five stars — a must-do when visiting Dingle.

This was a wonderful excursion for our family! Being that we were driving, if it rained this is a perfect way to see the sites while staying dry. It happened to be beautiful during our trip and the outside views and activities were amazing. Star Wars memorabilia, quaint petting zoo, cliffside views, baby lambs, and more! George picked us up at our B&B and was on time, he had a nice 7 person van that fit us well with room to spare. He personalized the tour to us, he was knowledgeable about each pit stop and was a great driver. He was disappointed for us the weather did not cooperate for a good sunset but we still had a great time and felt like we learned a lot on the tour. Would highly recommend this as a good way to see the sites without all the buses and tourist competing with you on the road . Also would not want to drive these roads ourselves - much worse then Connors pass.

We were so lucky and glad to find Steve, as we really wanted all four of us to enjoy the ride and the view! It was very easy to book with him online. We did the half-day Slea Head Drive.He was right there to pick us up at Dingle Garden Townhouse first thing in the morning. He was a great driver and provided us with a wonderful journey as well as so many historical facts about the area. We surely would have missed some of the sites he took us to had we driven it ourself. Our only regret -- we didn't get to spend more time with him! You will not be disappointed in Steve or his tour. We highly recommend him. We actually ran into him in Killarney when we were there on a jaunting car ride . . . so I am sure that any of his tours would be wonderful.

Steve's Peninsula Tours is a private, customized tour of the Dingle Peninsula and Slea Head. We were picked up at our lodging by Steve, owner and operator, and then spent the next four hours in a fascinating drive around the entire peninsula. Since we indicated an interest in history and natural beauty, Steve took us to a variety of historic sites and made sure to stop at a number of areas that provided us a view of the beauty and grandeur of the area. His knowledge of western Ireland's history, archeology, and natural history, was invaluable. We loved this unique experience and highly recommend it. This was a wonderful way to really experience the Dingle Peninsula in a way that we simply couldn't have done on our own.
