Cefalù Travel Guides (Updated September 2026)

Easy to follow guide, informative and well routed. Only minor inconvenience was having to return to hotel to get full shoes for access to Temple and Castle on The Rock, which were needed due to the uneven paths in places.

This was a wonderful experience. Our guide was so friendly and knowledgable, and we really felt that we had done something special and unique. Cefalu is beautiful but the chance to go up and up and up into the mountains and see the country from this incredible perspective was really special. We felt really well cared for, there was a delicious lunch and it was a great morning!

Needed to fill in a gap in our trip and our hotel was close to Cefalù, so we began the search for a self guided tour that was walkable and gave options on what to see or skip etc. the path linkage to Google Maps was great in helping us navigate the city streets. Would highly recommend this tour for those who want a high level overview of the history and city highlights. Well worth the cost and appreciated the flexibility the app provided to skip ahead, or repeat. We also listened to the tour prior to going so we were a little more familiar with what we would encounter.

Absolutely fantastic experience!We had an amazing guided e-bike tour in Sicily, taking us all the way to the top of the mountain and then back down again. From start to finish, it was just brilliant.The atmosphere was fantastic, the scenery was incredible, and the views along the way were absolutely breathtaking. Our guide was a real character too, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable.The electric bikes were excellent and made the climbs effortless while still giving you that feeling of adventure. Everything was really well organised, relaxed and fun.Honestly, it was worth every penny. In fact, I was surprised by how reasonable the price was — I genuinely think they could charge 25–30% more and it would still be great value for what you get.A fantastic experience all round and something I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Sicily. Five stars without hesitation!

Perfect accommodationsThis was the perfect hotel for my family of seven to spend four days. We are two families with four adult children and everything was done perfectly from the minute. We were greeted at the front desk. The breakfast every morning was amazing and the staff was so professional this hotel was immaculate in the pool was such a treat to enjoy . I would most definitely stay here again ciao. Thank you for making my vacation so memorable and stress spray.

This was an incredible tour! Our guide was perfect: helpful, patient, full of stories and insight about the island. The bikes were great throughout the ride! The top of the mountain is an absolute dreamy town and the lookout from the peak was just tremendous. We are a family of 4, with 2 teen daughters. We took the decent with some caution and watched our speed as we are not frequent mountain bike riders. We all loved it so much and we adored our guide Emanuele. 11/10!!!

Our guide Emanuele showed us the reason why true Sicilians love Sicily!! He was so kind and friendly and passionate about this island it was almost impossible not to fall in love with this old school way of life. Take this tour and you will gain a new appreciation for simple living in a beautiful place. Great views and a great lunch in the countryside. Emanuele was the best. GRAZIE MILLE!!

A wonderful day experience with Emanuele driving into the mountains to visit a hilltop village and another near Cefalu He gave us an interesting insight into some of the history of this beautiful area.Great guide.To cap it all he provided a lovely picnic in a forest park.

We thoroughly enjoyed this authentic tour in Sant'Ambrogio. Giovanna gave us a fascinating tour of her family’s historic olive oil mill and led an engaging tasting, teaching us how to identify different aromas and flavors. We also explored the charming village, enjoyed stunning coastal views, and ended with a lovely aperitivo at a scenic café. Giovanna’s local recommendations were excellent. A memorable experience— highly recommended when visiting the Cefalù area.

Rosemaria was an amazing host. She welcomed us into her home and provided a wonderful experience for our family. We learned about authentic Sicilian cuisine as we prepared our meals. My kids really enjoyed it as well. I would highly recommend over and over again.

What an incredible experience! The sunset jeep tour was absolutely amazing from start to finish. The views were breathtaking, and watching the sun go down from such a beautiful location made it truly unforgettable.The BBQ was delicious, with plenty of tasty food in a relaxed atmosphere. The guides were friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole evening fun and enjoyable. Everything was well organized, and you could tell they really cared about making it a memorable experience.I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a unique adventure with stunning scenery, great food, and wonderful hospitality. It was definitely one of the highlights of our trip!

Angela who runs the Sicily & Italy by Experts tours is simply amazing. She is so accommodating and communicative. Our guide, Raimondo is the best! Be sure to ask for him especially if you do the Etna and Taormina tours. He’s so knowledgeable about both areas especially since he lives there. But more than that he is a great driver and a delight! We loved his stories and all enjoyed out day thoroughly. The highlight of the trip!

Rosamaria was everything we were hoping for and more! The food was fantastic and the time we spent with Rosamaria was worth every penny. I cannot wait to go home and make these recipes for my family, they will definitely become family favorites. Our cesarina was thoughtful, attentive, and thourough in our lesson. Would do again!!

Marco could not have been any kinder or accommodating. He has extensive knowledge of the Cefalu area and made great decisions as to what we would want to see. I definitely would recommend Marco to anyone who asked about Cefalu!!
