Baltimore Travel Guides (Updated September 2026)

Amazingly fun! Fells Point is a beautiful historical town. The tour gave us unique history of the area while spooky tales kept the whole family entertained. Our tour guide, John, was dressed to impress and ensured everyone had a great time. Definitely plan to arrive early and have dinner at one of the local restaurants and visit some of the unique shops. They even have an independent bookstore, Greedy Reads. Just be mindful of the time as most stores close around 5 or 6pm.

John was a lively and entertaining guide! It was perfect for the family and gave some nice bits of history of the town.

Great tour - interesting history, great food and Mary Margaret was a delightful tour guide. Don't eat lunch or plan on having dinner when you go on y=this tour!

I went to the starry night class and Mason was our instructor, she was so awesome, funny, and helpful! We had a great time and it was really nice snacks and water were provided. Would definitely go back!

If you're on the edge deciding whether or not to book this - book it! And hope Mary Margaret is your guide. She was so friendly and made a sincere effort to connect with each of the 5 couples on our tour. She gave great information on the history and development of the Fells Point area was able to answer all of the historical questions we asked. And the food selection was great (and I live in a big foodie city, so I don't consider myself super easy to impress with food). We had two people with food allergies on our tour and they received allergin-free substitutes as needed. As other reviews mentioned, you do not need to eat beforehand, and you will not need to go out to dinner after. My husband and I were both still full when we went to bed at 10 pm! This tour makes me want to do a food tour on every vacation I take in the future - my only worry is that other tours won't live up to the high standard this one set.

DonnaAnn was a knowledgeable tour guide and a captivating storyteller. The Salty Old Fells Point tour was a really fun way to learn about the city’s history and culture. We certainly got our money’s worth!

Our Mt. Vernon neighborhood tour with Donna Ann was wonderful. She loves her subject and put her heart into it. In the process, she gives you perspective on four hundred years of Maryland and Baltimore history and you gain insight into Baltimore today, as well.

Cool experience visiting 7 places- good food with Louis. Learned lots of local knowledge. Glad we had a small group.

The neon paint session was an exciting sensory adventure! The staff was welcoming and friendly. An hour was perfect to fully immerse ourselves in the experience. Even though the canvas was still wet when we left, they carefully packaged it and provided detailed instructions for drying, making it an unforgettable pre-birthday celebration.

I booked this experience during a week-long celebration with my fiance for our 13th anniversary. She's the artist and I knew this sounded like a fun moment for both of us to spend time together and have something special to mark the occasion, but it was so much more than that! Vin was great, it felt like we were partying at a friend's house. She walked us through all the details and suited us up. After some celebratory drinks and cranking some music, we got to flinging paint and singing, and we left with some pretty sweet works of art. We even managed to take a picture in front of a very thoughtful banner that said "Happy Anniversary" they hung on the wall for us. I can't thank Vin enough for making it such a memorable time. We had a blast. Cheers!

Donns was super friendly and really knew Baltimore history which was interesting to us because we knew nothing. Not only did she catch us up on the history and beautiful sites, she also texted us a very thorough list of restaurants & activities. My son may be moving to Baltimore soon & she even gave him great advice on neighborhoods & transportation. She truly went above & beyond for a great tour & a ton of useful info on Baltimore!
