Albufeira 2026 Calendar of Events

What an experience! Miguel not only took us to a fabulous, authentic (seriously) Portuguese tapas restaurant for some amazing food (between me and my wife, we tried 8 different dishes) and we saw the most beautiful view, but that was not the special part. He invited us inside his family farm. You get to see the real Portugal, not what is produced for tourists. All I can say is: Book this trip!!

Yummy Yummy Tours was a great afternoon out (14:30-18:30). We were picked up at our apartments and taken in a jeep to a lovely, beautifully decorated/kool vibes Tapas restaurant. We got to choose 4 dishes each. Then we headed to a beach to take in its picturesque view from the cliff top. We finished our tour at Miguel’s family farm. It was very intimate and educational. We briefly met Miguel’s family, and had the opportunity to taste all the home-made jams his mother makes, sourcing all the fruits directly from the farm. We sampled (sugar cane shot) the liquors that are also made on the farm, as well as two others that are not. We met his cute dogs, and had the opportunity to feed the goats. Overall the experience was excellent. I would recommend everyone who is visiting, to book a tour with ‘Yummy Yummy ‘Tours! We also met two lovely Canadian ladies that were on our tour.

It was lovely to see places you would not go by yourself. Swimming in the canal and the waterfall was refreshing. The farm with birds was also nice, the wiev from the castle as well. We hoped we had more time.

Very pleasant experience. Amazing captain considering all the boat traffic at Benagil cave. The boat staff was very nice and friendly.

First time I was nervous but it was really fun and safe. the captain was great.his mate was really funny . There was a group of 11 of us it was a great time

While there are many MANY tours to choose from for the cave, we would definitely recommend this one if you’re looking for a boat with good stability in the ocean but not overly big, lots of shade, tour guide speaking and translating in 4 languages (Portuguese, English, Spanish, French) and very kind and accommodating staff. We weren’t interested in kayaking or paddle boarding so this was the tour for us.

Our tour guide and captain were fabulous: Phillip and Daniel. The boat ride was fun and their narration of the caves was interesting and fun.This is a must do tour!!

Such a beautiful experience the springs and waterfall were definitely a high light our guide was lovely and the stop offs for some fresh fruit and the bakery were amazing!

We set out for a 9.30 cruise. Dolphins were being shy, but visiting the caves was fantastic.Great tour guide (not talking all the time, praise the Lord!). She spoke at least three languages. Appropriate and atmospheric music at key points (but I could have done without that short moment of Elvis :-) )Highly recommend this trip.

Caring and knowledgeable staff! The captain was great and he sure knew what he was doing as it was a rough day at sea! The two young ladies (Bea and I missed the other lady’s name) who were his assistants were very caring to all the guests. The coastal and cave views and were stunning! The boat was a great size and felt very safe.

A perfect way to spend the morning exploring the Albufeira coastline! Our guide (?Nunu) was excellent, really friendly. We saw numerous beaches, protected nature areas, pelicans and spoonbills on the way! Plus some stunning housesThe e-bikes are so easy to ride, we did 22km and it did not feel like it! Highly recommended.

Amazing morning trip exploring the nature trails and tradition on the bikes. Our tour guide made sure we were all set up and comfy ready to start. He was very informative and full of knowledge about this area of Albufeira. The views are stunning and so lovely to see the different birds over the lagoon. The little stops were great, visiting the little fisherman village and then to the chapel, which was beautiful. Highly recommend this trip, best way to soak up the sun and the views around.

We were messaged and collected from near our Hotel all very well organised even sent a photo of the bus stop we were being collected at. John arrived in the Jeep and straight away started to share history make jokes etc what a great guy. Our Jeep was not crowded and it felt very relaxed. We saw other companies with people jammed in like sardines so we felt lucky that were with this company. The tour and experiences along the way were excellent. Got to swim in the spring and see the waterfall and even a turtle swimming with us. Everything was superb and it gave us a lovely opportunity to experience Portuguese life. Special thanks to our driver John whose personality and humour added a huge bonus to our trip.

Johnny was awesome! Super personable and informative. We loved the little farm and tasting! Definitely bring swimsuits for the waterfall and fontas!
