Top Turkey Painting Classes

This is a super unique experience. I'm a street artist, but not a graf writer. I signed up for this to meet a fellow artist in a place I've never visited before. Ali is very genuine and loves his craft. He's an excellent teacher and will help you make something beautiful.

Our family of four enjoyed this activity! It was fun & relaxing decorating our own lamp and everyone was very nice, friendly, and welcoming.

I can’t recommend this experience enough! It takes place in a historic part of the city, inside a charming boutique-style studio café run by professional artists. The host gives clear instructions, helps you fix your piece, mix colors, and offers great advice — we had such a fun and memorable time!Our host, a lovely girl from Beylikdüzü who spoke perfect English, made the experience truly unforgettable. Even though we arrived a bit late due to traffic, they were kind enough to welcome us and let us join the workshop anyway. It was absolutely worth it!

It was super fun! We went to the Asian part of Istanbul and we walked through a few streets (beautiful) and we ended up at the workshop. The guidance was great, the coffee and tea were great! We ended up doing a mozaïek workshop, and now we have two cute lamps. I would definitely recommend this workshop!

What an amazing experience with some truly lovely people. I was treated like an old friend by each of my host. I learned to make delicious dishes, got to do some cool art and learned a lot about the Turkish lifestyle. This definitely something I would recommend to anyone!

The abstract painting workshop with Ecem was a delightful dive into Istanbul's creative scene. It's rare to find such a hands-on experience where you can relax with a glass of wine and create art with recycled fabrics. A perfect way to discover local life and get to know a fantastic local artist!

This was an incredible hands-on experience to learn more about ebru and come away with a beautiful and unique souvenir. Even if you do not consider yourself to be artistic, you should still check out this class! The lesson starts with a short documentary about the art of ebru and an observation of the class instructor demonstrating different techniques. She will guide you through creating your own piece, using your own colors, and learning more about the process. We were able to make two pieces, including one where she led my husband through a "blind" piece where she gave him instructions.While the pieces dried, we were able to take advantage of the beautiful terrace in the building and see Istanbul from above. Our art was packaged in solid tubes that made for easy transport to take our art home.The entire staff was the epitome of Turkish hospitality - warm, welcoming, and eager to share their experience with us. I would book this activity again in a heartbeat!

A quiet workshop in a nice place, a great variety of colors and sizes of lamps (medium and large for an extra charge). Excellent activity for an afternoon and a nice souvenir that one can take home!

Great Experience to make your own mosaic lamp

Great experience from start to finish! Ali was very communicative and messaged me in advance the day before. The directions he provided to the meeting place were excellent, and we got there without any issues at all. He is very kind and a true artist, explaining the work of graffiti artists in an easy to understand. The work we did with my teenagers was incredible! Highly recommend! You’ll enjoy it for sure. Very different from the rest of the experiences in Istanbul.

My wife and I had a truly memorable experience creating our first ever stained glass art piece and this team deserves the highest praise. First Beyza's communication on Cool Destinations and WhatsApp was very prompt and helpful, followed by a warm welcome and translation expertise on the day itself. The workshop takes place in a characterful cafe located in a cool part of town. This means you get generous refreshments throughout the workshop as well as multiple other workshops on offer in the same space.My wife and I were the only participants there on the day so we received full attention and instruction from the incredibly talented and wonderful Eda. She was patient, funny, supportive, encouraging and very skilled at remedying our mistakes! It was a truly wonderful experience that provided us with a unique piece of self-made creativity. We cannot recommend this experience and both Beyza and Eda enough for looking after us so well!
