We had an excellent experience. The actors were professional, and the place is fabulous. I recommend it if you want to relax and spend some quality time with your partner or friends. The show lasted more or less 2 hours, so make sure to eat first. All in all, it was money well spent.

I attended an Opera Selection performance in Taormina and it was truly an excellent experience. A captivating, elegant, and carefully crafted pocket opera, perfect both for opera lovers and for those experiencing opera for the first time.The artists demonstrated outstanding professionalism and very high quality: extraordinary voices, great stage presence, and an emotional atmosphere from beginning to end. You can truly feel the passion and expertise of the entire team.A unique cultural experience that I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Taormina. Congratulations to everyone involved!

When I booked, I was looking for something we can do in our 2nd trip to Taormina. Very reasonable price and performing throughout the year, thus, I was thinking here is rather for a tourist site, thus I did not expect much honestly. Wow! reality was very differen in a greater way. Real opera! We can't imagine we could have such a wonderful time with the price. Great opera singers and a pianist.Only 5mn on foot from main street. Staffs are attentive too.

The theatre took us a little while to find but we had a super night of well known arias from a soprano, tenor and accompanying pianist. Lovely little theatre with drinks and snacks provided in the interval. Note that the evening starts at 9:15 pm and lasts for approximately 2 hours.

The evening takes place a bit off the beaten path in a building that is not very attractive from the outside. The courtyard for the break is nicely designed; there is prosecco and nuts. The performance itself is high-quality and thrives on the popular choice of pieces and the joy of performing of the young singers. Especially the witty encores, with humor and yet vocally outstanding in quality, were completely inspiring. A wonderful evening!

Good voices & nice repertoire!

Loved this. It's a warm, relaxed evening of well known opera arias and duets in a small, intimate theatre where you're right up close to the performers. The singers were fantastic, real voices with proper expression, and the pianist was excellent too, with a couple of solo moments of his own. The selection of pieces was spot on, all the famous ones you'd hope to hear, so even if you're not an opera buff there's plenty to enjoy. Nice touch getting a glass of prosecco at the interval as well.One thing to set expectations: this is a selection of arias, not a full staged opera. You're getting the highlights rather than one complete work start to finish. We knew that going in and honestly it's part of the charm, since it lets each performer show what they can do, but worth knowing so you're not expecting a full production.Highly recommend, especially as a low key way to spend an evening in Taormina. Go and enjoy.

Beautiful experience in Taormina: a night of lyrical singing with excellent performances to enjoy the famous arias from Italian operas.

As neither my wife nor I are great opera goers we had reasonably low expectations for our enjoyment. We were very pleasantly surprised. The baritone singer, Graziano D’Orso had a great voice but our favourite was the soprano, Ester Ventura, who was absolutely amazing. Must not forget the pianist, Antonio Gennaro. who also did a couple of solos. Our favourite songs were the duets. We were pleased that it was not one opera, but lots of snippets as that gave the performers an opportunity to show their talents. A really good evening.
