Hands down best tour we’ve ever taken!
What a fabulous introduction to Slovenian food, culture and Ljublijana! Our guide Matic was knowledgeable, funny, energetic and just so much fun. We met at 5pm and he already had a street food treat in his hands that he shared with us while he told us about our upcoming tour. We ate and drank so many great things that I can’t remember them all! For me, best of all, the tour was small, only two couples. That meant we went at our own pace, didn’t have to wait for stragglers and were treated at the restaurants we visited as just a normal group of visitors. Matic took care of all the details, leaving us free to focus on the food, wine and city. I would do this tour again in a heartbeat, it was worth every penny.

We had a fantastic experience at Fonda Fish Farm! The visit was informative, enjoyable, and beautifully organized. We especially loved the cooking class in English, which was fun, interactive, and easy to follow. The wine and olive oil tasting was a wonderful addition and perfectly complemented the meal. The sea bass was absolutely delicious, fresh, flavorful, and one of the best we've ever had.A special thank you to Irena and her team. Their passion for sustainable fish farming, high-quality seafood, and sharing their knowledge is truly inspiring and admirable. Their enthusiasm made the entire experience even more memorable.We highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting the area!

Never would have thought that Slovenia of all places can be so advanced in coffee culture. I attended a coffee tasting with these guys and man do they know what they are doing. I’ve tasted 6 different lots, mostly from Colombia, from 5 roasters.btw; Really liked the one from El Diviso.

I was originally looking for a wine tasting, but found Lev and his coffee tasting instead.It was a very interesting and unique experience. They explained the nuances of how coffee is grown, picked and fermented.After a brief lecture, I was presented with six coffees roasted by locals and taught how to properly taste coffee by slurping.I liked the Costa Rican coffee and could literally taste the pineapple.

We had a lovely private tour with Anja and Bojan. Two lovely people with a lot of knowledge about mushrooms and the local culture.They took us to a place in nature you will never come on your own and they did open there home to us.We loved there vision on cooking the local produce: celebrate the natural flavor of the produce.If you like food, are interrested in the local culture and enjoy cooking, then this is a must do!Thanks again for everything, Anja & Bojan. My partner and I took part in this incredible experience and I could not recommend it enough. Luka was so welcoming and friendly and also incredibly knowledgeable about Slovenia! We had such an amazing time making the strukliji and we will both take what we’ve learnt home having gained the skill - we also got to try an excellent selection of local wine and foods. Such an incredible end to our trip!
