Booking this cooking class with Sabrina was hands down the best thing we did in Italy, and we visited Rome, Naples, Sorrento, Positano, and Amalfi!First off, Sabrina rescheduled our class to a time she doesn't normally host just so my husband and I could come. When we arrived, she greeted us warmly and gave us a tour of her garden and beautiful property, with Mount Vesuvius as the backdrop. She told us all about her ingredients and some local history, then walked us through a fun, in-depth lesson on making ravioli and caprese cake, using ingredients straight from her garden.The food was incredible. We've never had anything so fresh! Sabrina went above and beyond at every turn, treating us to appetizers, wine, and homemade limoncello, and she even charged my phone when it was about to die. She was a wonderful host: friendly, kind, and so accommodating. She truly makes you feel like family.This experience was a 20/10. Book it; it'll be the highlight of your trip!

We had an amazing time. Such a beautiful setting. Very patient and lots of laughs. Wine was delicious as was the food we made! I would love to do this again! .... so welcoming! Experience we will never forget. Thank you very much Sabrina, myself and my sister had the best time 🥰

One of the best experiences fantastic ingredients fresh vegetables and absolutely stunning family made wine. The family are so welcoming, nothing is too much trouble. Stunning vistas and I we do say ourselves our ravioli was delicious.

Sabrina welcomes you into her family home, provides a tour of their organic garden, and shares her generational knowledge and lifetime of pasta making experience. More important than any recipe, she shows you proper technique and coaches you through the entire process. While learning what a proper dough looks and feels like, she eliminates any guess work or uncertainty to enable all skill levels to successfully make the pasta on their own.

My family had an incredible cooking class and experience with Francesca in Pompeii. This was for sure one of the highlights of our trip to Italy. The meeting place was super easy to find, right across from the major church in Pompeii. We were picked up Francesca's by Francesca's husband and niece and driven a short distance to their beautiful home. Francesca's family was delightful and we were made to feel right at home. My wife and son took a pasta and tiramisu class with was super fun. Everything we had for dinner was from their garden, which included lemon, orange, mandarin, peach and orange trees, tomatoes, spinach, garlic, onions, etc. The homemade red wine from the grandfather of the house was the best we ever had. The food was absolutely delicious and my wife and son had a great time cooking. It was a pleasure spending time with this family, eating and talking together. Afterward Francesca sent us the recipes that had been cooked for the night. We would highly recommend a cooking class with Francesca and will be sure to take another class with her when we are back in the area!

Sabrina and her family are wonderful! They made my friends and I feel right at home, and helped us cook a fantastic meal!!

We had a wonderful evening with Francesca and her lovely family. The antipasti, pasta and tiramisu were incredibly delicious and almost all of the ingredients came from their own garden. Even the wine was homemade. But most importantly, we didn't feel like customers, but like friends. For us, the pasta course was the highlight of our trip to Italy. We definitely recommend it!

We celebrated our honeymoon with a cooking class taught by Cesarina Francesca and it was a highlight of our trip, to say the least! We had so much fun and the experience was truly authentic. Delicious food paired with wonderful hospitality. The garden was beautiful and we would recommend! I can’t wait to cook our own pasta at home ☺️

The cooking class with Sabrina exceeded our expectations. It’s hands down one of the best experiences of our trip to Pompeii. We started the evening with a tour of Sabrina’s garden, then enjoyed aperitivo of fresh bruschetta and wine from her uncle’s vineyard (which was outstanding). Then we jumped into a demonstration of pasta making and a hand’s on cooking class to make our own ravioli in Sabrina’s outdoor kitchen. Sabrina also demonstrated how to make the lemon cake that we had for dessert. The cooking class was so fun, and the food we made was delicious. Sabrina made us feel like family friends as we dined on the patio. It was a beautiful evening! Next time we’re in Italy, we’ll come back for a pizza making class!

This experience could not have been more perfect for us. From the first text message from Francesca on the morning of our pizza-making class to the moment we were dropped back off at our lodging, everything was perfect!After several hours exploring the Pompeii ruins, we realized that Scafati was much closer to Pompei than our AirBnB in Salerno. We realized that we did not know how to get to Scafati or how we could return to our lodging after the pizza-making class since we would miss the last train back to Salerno. A quick text with Francesca resulted in plans to pick us up at the Pompei train station and drop us at our AirBnB after for just 5 euros per person. It was quite a relief! Her husband, Carmine, and the daughter of close family friends, Chiara, picked us up in a small van. The drive from Pompei was 10-15 minutes.Fortunately for us, my husband, 21-year-old daughter, her 21-year-old schoolmate, and I were the only participants on Friday night, October 11, 2024. Francesco and Carmine's home is beautiful, and when we arrived, everything for our pizza-making was set up and ready to go. With Chiara translating from Italian to English, we learned the step-by-step process for making pizza dough, crust-making, sauce-making, and baking Napoletana-style pizzas. Francesca was very knowledgeable and did a great job answering our questions as we created our pizzas. As they baked, we enjoyed homemade salad of crusty bread, home-grown tomatoes and salad greens—delicious! The dining table was already set for dinner, so as our pizzas came out of the oven, we indulged in a delectable meal accompanied by homemade wine created by Francesca's father. Two of Francesca's children, daughters—Luigi Lorena and Sabrina—joined us at the table, adding to the true Italian family-style dinner experience. We discussed and compared Italian and American cultures and facts about ourselves. Luigi Lorena and Chiarra even helped us translate a 50-year-old family letter from my husband's relatives in Salerno which was incredible!Throughout our 7-day Italian adventure, we experienced many things. However, the personalized nature of our Pizza Napoletana Cooking Class was the highlight of our trip due to the relationships made with Chiarra, Francesca, and her lovely family. DO NOT MISS!

Sabrina and her family were fantastic. The class was awesome and our family enjoyed the cooking class experience. 5 out 5 stars. At least. We gave this a 5 star for Sabrina and her team. The Cool Destinations interaction was so disappointing. Beyond frustrating. They provide a pick up location and we booked out stay based on that location to be close yo the pick up spot. Less than 24 hours before the class they provide a new location which is 30 minutes from the original pick up point and we were left on our own to get there. Horrible communication from Cool Destinations on this. Sabrina and her team stepped in to help us but Cool Destinations provided no help whatsoever. Very disappointed in how Cool Destinations interacted with us.

A very welcoming hostess and a very cozy atmosphere. The home was beautiful and the table lavishly set up for feasting. The cooking was educational and so much fun.

We had the best experience. Caesarian welcomed us into her beautiful home. We made pizza and tiramisu (so good) and sat down at her dinner table with her family . We talked about there daily lives and family traditions. It was truly amazing. Definitely a highlight of our vacation.

Absolutely fantastic experience with Sabrina! Loved the tour of her garden with all the lovely veggies and fruits her family grows. I also loved the cooking experience and learning how to make ravioli. The cake was a bonus and I'm excited to make some for my family :)

Pompeii 2 hour tour with Sophia and Cooking Class with Sabrina was terrific! Drivers were on time and courteous. Excellent excursion and a highlight of our trip.

Sabrina was absolutely delightful and the pasta (and cake!) turned out delicious! We prepared our meal in her beautiful kitchen in the fresh air of her garden. A wonderful local experience that I highly recommend!
