9 years ago we started going to Akumal Bay Beach and Wellness Resort. Why? Key words was Wellness. Now we are hooked at the yoga studio we meditate 2xs daily and do yoga with this excellent team; Hiram, Franco and Barbara.

I attended a morning yoga session with Amanda. It was a calm and relaxing experience and a great way to start my day. The relaxed feeling lasted all day.

Amanda combines her deep experience in Yoga and formal Thai massage training to deliver a deeply satisfying experience. I've had 2 massages recently and look forward to future bookings.

Amanda is a talented yoga professional with a voice that is almost hypnotic. I have been following her Saturday yoga courses for at least a year and it is always an enlightening pleasure.

I highly recommend Amanda’s yoga classes. I have been practicing yoga for many years and she is the best yoga instructor I have had the pleasure to practice with. I have taken her Yin and Hatha classes and also a class she offered on a full moon with sound bowls. When visiting Nevis, schedule a class with Amanda. You will not be disappointed.

Wonderful Vinyasa class . Amanda's calm delivery eased me into the poses. Felt amazing afterwards , both mentally and physically. Highly recommend.

Wonderful experience. I'm new to yoga, and it was really a great experience. I'm now signed up for more. Even though others in the class were well accustomed to yoga I didn't feel out of lace. Amanda is excellent.

Had a wonderful, relaxing and restorative private yoga session with Amanda, exactly what I was looking for. She's a thoughtful and sensitive teacher. Will definitely return when I'm next on Nevis.

If you are into yoga , or a novice. This is one of the very best activities you can do whilst on Nevis.Amanda is an exceptionally talented instructor. My wife is quite an experienced yogi. I am a complete novice.We did the Yin Yoga sessions - these are more about holding positions and breathing - Amanda talks you through them. I have a hip implant - await a new knee - a fused toe and am full of arthritis. The message is - if I can do it anyone can!! I came away with my joints moving and feeling relaxed and at one with myself.We went back for a second session - they were at Oualie Beach. In a lovely room with a view of the ocean.After the second session we also had a Thai massage - it was sensational!If you’re staying at the Four Seasons - forget the spa ( which is very swanky) - get with the locals. You’ll get an amazing session at the fraction of the price - and proper Nevis experience.Can’t recommend highly enough.

Amanda’s yoga class was more Than I expected…beyond relaxing and some great stretching even with my inflexibility and lack of exercise lately

The class is a great stress reliever. It makes you aware of your breathing and your surroundings. At the end of the class my body feels more supple due to the stretching exercises. I had never done yoga before, but I am definitely hooked. I highly recommend this class.

I have only been to one class, but many more to come. I wish I had started this years ago before I got so stiff and sore. I love the peaceful, calm you get from yoga and the meditation. It is wonderful to have that time to slow down, relax and do a calming form if excercise and stretching.
