A great way to experience the sights of Marrakech on foot and by car. It was our second visit and we got to see places where we overlooked previously which was only made possible by our fantastic local guide Aziz. We also managed to get a restaurant recommendation for dinner which was the icing on the cake as we would never had known this place existed - the Terrasse des epices. Thanks for a wonderful day Aziz and the dinner was gorgeous!

Ismail our tour guide was super friendly and clearly was very knowledgable of the city. As this was my first time out of Europe Ismail but us both feel calm and relaxed in a city that is very busy! He also took us to some lovely authentic shops as part of the different areas of the souks where people where making stuff by hand in front of us which was super cool. Would recommend!

We have been on countless trips via Cool Destinations around the world: this one is a Gem & a definite Must Do! You can do this cheaper & in a group but this particular tour can provide a highly unique & memorable lifetime experience. We found this such an authentic & memorable Moroccan adventure, that had so many incredible experiences which we would like to take the time to share with our fellow travellers. Please stay with us through this ‘extended’ review, so that you can get a sense of why we are so impressed!Ismail picked us up on time with a very positive & happy outlook: he clearly loves his work. We chatted freely in English & French while driving along. Our first stop was at a Argan Oil women’s co-op where our host Laima welcomed us: we met some elders who were baking bread & making the oil: WOW! We then sat down for a morning Moroccan snack with mint tea: gorgeous! Even though we couldn’t speak Berber or Arabic we all had a cheerful time together. There was no pressure to buy anything: they were just happy that we had an open mind & took the time to interact with them.Next, Ismail took us to a beautiful stream where an expresso coffee for both of us was delivered to our table, where we enjoyed the moment. At no time throughout the day did we have to reach into our pocket for Moroccan dirham.From there we drove through the first & second of the Atlas Mountains Five valleys. On the third, he stopped the vehicle & invited us to walk the rest of the way to the next valley: here we were introduced to our local guide Yassine. He took us to a local Berber home where we spent time having a wonderful interaction with a family including the farm animals. He also showed us a very old walnut tree, where we ate fresh walnuts.For the next hour we walked up the dirt road chatting with Yassine: he pointed out interesting things & facts along the way. We also interacted with school children. Then we detoured off the road to a local home for lunch: we met the local sisters of Khadija & Aisha who served us a magnificent local meal of cous cous & tagine, plus other bits & pieces, on their rooftop: stunning!Next, we met our driver/guide Ismail and headed off in the vehicle where we enjoyed stunning views of the 4th & 5th valleys & the Atlas Mountains in the foreground. The commentary was fantastic & immersive.He then drove us back to our starting point in Marrakech, completing approximately 10 hrs together. In conclusion, we had great conversations, sharing of information and great day outside of the city of Marrakesh.For us, we rate this as a solid 5 out of 5: we sincerely thank all the individuals we met including the outstanding contribution of our two mentioned guides. We love Aziz. He provided us with the perfect tour. We had a wonderful time in the town square, the Majorelle Gardens, shopping in the Medina, and even meeting the cobra. It was a perfect day!! He gave us great recommendations for our next day to go to Bacha Coffee and museum as well as great recommendations for our dinner at L’Almondine. Aziz is amazing and recommend him for all tours you won’t be disappointed.

We had such a great time with Eddy from Insiders! We did a private sidecar tour around Marrakech, and it ended up being one of the most fun and interesting ways to discover the city.What we loved most was that Eddy took us away from the typical tourist spots and showed us the Marrakech where locals actually live. We stopped at a local market where people from Marrakech actually shop, drove through parts of the Medina where we barely saw another tourist, and visited a small residential street that has been preserved as it was in the old days. We even made a quick pit stop because I really wanted to have a nous nous!Along the way, Eddy shared so many interesting little stories about the city and what Marrakech was like during the French period. He also told us about the church located right next to a mosque, which we found fascinating and would probably never have noticed on our own. We drove through Gueliz and all the way out to the Palmeraie, so we really got to see the different faces of Marrakech.But what really made the tour special was Eddy himself. He was super friendly, relaxed, always smiling and so easy to talk to. It never felt like we were following a tour guide. It felt more like we had a friend in Marrakech taking us around and showing us his city.Such a fun, authentic and different experience. We loved it and would definitely recommend touring Marrakech with Eddy!

We had a wonderful day trip to Atlas mountains. We had a wonderful guide, Sofyan, he did his best to show things on the way to Atlas mountains, helped us taking pictures during breakfast, lunch, coffee. He also took us to good gifts shops. He is very friendly and genuine person.

The souks can be overwhelming! It was nice to go with someone who knows the lay of the land. Our guide was kind, funny, and smart. He took us into places only locals might have access to- like inside the oldest bakery. Highly recommend!

Magnificent road trip with a great driver, Agnes was very attentive to our expectations, a very immersive visit to the local market and popular neighborhoods, a water and coffee break allowed us to chat and learn about the life of the Marrakchis and the superb city of Marrakech and its less touristy areas. We found our guide Omar to be both friendly and very knowledgeable for both the food and its history. We tried foods we would never have tried on our own. His relationship with the food sellers meant for a more authentic tour. In our opinion, Omar went above and beyond, arranging our taxi pick up at the end and suggesting a nice bars etc for spending our last minutes in an otherwise strange city. We wouldnt hesitate to recommend this tour and Omar

We booked a personal shopping tour to guide us in buying authentic Morrocan products. Instructions on when and where we were to meet our guide were sent to us the day before. Hassan met us promptly at the arranged time and spent some time introducing himself and getting to know us. He was obviously very knowledgeable about Morocco and Marrakech making sure he understood our shopping needs to ensure the trip met our expectations.We spent the next 4 hours meeting local artisans and viewing authentic quality products at reasonable prices. Hassan made sure we weren't pressured into buying any of the products and we felt very comfortable and safe during the whole experience.He provided us with a list of his recommendations for food and experiences, with no obligation to book via him.We highly recommend using Hassan for this experience. He was a gentleman throughout, even carrying our purchases for us.

Had a lovely day escaping the heat of the city. Exceptional knowledge and driving 😁. Our driver, Abdo, who took us around all the sites on the itinerary and our Waterfall guide, Abdul, were fabulous. We also very much enjoyed the Berber village, traditional lunch and general experience. One slight disappointment was the pottery experience. It reads as if we were going to be able to try working with some clay, this was not the case - we were shown how the item is made, then taken to the shop. Perhaps re-wording that part would be useful. All in all though a good day, though and definitely worth going to see a different side of Morocco.

Hassan is the BEST tour guide! He made the entire trip seamless from start to finish. We put together a list of items to buy at the Medina and he took us to the best shops, helped negotiate the prices to give us a fair deal without having to haggle ourselves. We are so happy with all of our purchases. Hassan is also the most down to earth human and so kind hearted we truly enjoyed our day with him. 1000/10 recommend to anyone to book with him.

This was a great way to get your feet wet in the Medina. I believe where the guide took us was on the less touristy side. The best part was we didn't feels pressured to buy anything. Great Tour!

This was the perfect way to begin my adventures in Marrakech! My guide, Omar, was outstanding—his knowledge of Marrakech and Morocco was truly impressive, and his passion for sharing the city's history, culture, and traditions made the experience unforgettable.Omar gave me a genuine insider's perspective, taking me beyond the typical tourist experience. He introduced me to some of the best local shops, where I learned about traditional Moroccan craftsmanship. We visited an apothecary with an amazing selection of locally grown herbs, oils, and natural remedies, and I discovered beautiful handcrafted Moroccan lanterns while learning about the artistry and skill that goes into making them. One of my favorite moments was visiting a shoe workshop, where we met the artisan creating beautiful shoes by hand.He also helped me find fresh, delicious food that was perfect for enjoying while exploring the city. Every stop felt authentic, thoughtfully chosen, and added to my appreciation of Marrakech.I left the tour with a much deeper understanding of the city, its people, and its rich culture.
