This ethnographic museum is a must to know the history of La Gomera. It is a space that brings us closer to the agricultural and livestock past of its people. 100% recommended.

Fantastic facilities, well maintained and great attention to the public. Rarely does one have the possibility to immerse oneself in the history and idiosyncrasies of a place. Knowing firsthand the stenography of a town, an island like La Gomera in a tour initiated magnificently well by the directions of a young q from the store indicated everything necessary to enjoy the experience. The travelers who accompanied me also lived it the same. Thank you.

very pleasant to walk there. Signs with explanations in Spanish, English and German. Lots to learn about customs, plants, living on La Gomera. We were here almost 3 hours.

We visited today and had lunch. After 2 weeks on La Gomera this was a real treat for a vegetarian! Actually had some choice and variety! We enjoyed the Park. It isn't very big but it's interesting. Lots of history about the Island and its people. A really pleasant afternoon. We took the bus from San Sebastian and of course the views are spectacular!

The park is tiny but beautiful, I took out the vip tickets with tasting. Audio guides are included, as well as an immersive experience with glasses. The delicious tasting, local cheeses, almogrote and fruit grown in the park. More than recommended. Excellent value for money.

Few museums have been created on this island , this small museum with its organic production and restaurant allows to understand the difficult life of the Gomerians in the centuries passes and the richness of this valley.

We loved the visit, the old mill films and how the wool is prepared to weave are beautiful, the Qr where a guide explains pieces from the same museum, the surroundings surrounded by palm trees and mountains. And the icing was the 3D glasses with a flight over the valley of Hermigua and the waterfall that comes down from the Garajonay.... My husband saw in his glasses how to get palm honey and sap and virtually climbed a palm tree 😂 A highly recommended 10!

Excellent restaurant! Welcome with a smile, very reasonable prices, very pretty view and open kitchen with vegetables and fruits from the garden… a delight!

A spectacular place, all the food and the staff of 10, we will repeat without a doubt. The attention of the staff is ideal because they are attentive without being very intense, everything is phenomenal.

Magnificent ethnographic park to learn about the life, customs and plant and animal products of La Gomera. It is divided into different areas where you can see first-hand how bananas, mangoes and other typical Canary products are raised, as well as goats.It also has several museum areas explaining the different agricultural devices that were used. Among them one dedicated to the water millIt also has a small cafeteria with a terrace, an area to buy products and there are a couple of very interesting 3D videos that you cannot miss.

There is a very small garden crammed full of local fauna. Although I am not a horticulturalist by any stretch of the imagination, nevertheless I found the visit to this garden very interesting. I for one had not realised that there were so many different species of plants growing on La Gomera.Out tour guide was very knowledgeable about the different plants which made the visit all the more interesting.I visited this garden as a part of an island tour. I did not pay an entrance fee but I think that there is an entrance charge.There is a well stocked shop at the garden which sold a range of local produce and local hand made products which seemed to be reasonably priced.I am happy to recommend the garden as a pleasant rest stop when touring the island.

This is an excellent opportunity to hear about the history of the Canaries especially La Gomera and see the ecology of the island. I was staying in Hermigua and was fascinated with the banana plantations in the area. It was my desire to hear a bit more about the local history and agriculture. This Ethnographic Park provided exactly that!The self-guided, audio tour around the plantation is a top quality production. The walkways are well manicured and an easy walk in sandals. It is a bit of a hilly terrain, although the walks are solid (wood or cement) so it probably is not the most accessible for strollers or wheelchairs. There are three small museum expeditions which are well done and full of history.We bought the VIP delux ticket that includes a tasting pairing after the tour. It was fun to try a sampling of local cheeses, spreads, bread, and wine. After the tour we stayed and ate at the restaurant which uses produce from the garden. The food was a foodie's delight. The gift shop sells local products with which I plan to return and pack in my suitcase! There is plenty of parking.
