I went on this hike with my sister and really enjoyed it. Even though it was a bit rainy and foggy, the views of the mountains and tea plantations were incredible. Samy is a very knowledgeable, passionate, and friendly guide, and even drove us back to our hotel afterwards. There was also a hotel pickup at the start (for an extra fee), and Samy brought some delicious tea and snacks for on top of one of the mountains during the 8.2 km hike. I would recommend to wear shoes with good grip, and long trousers and socks as you will be walking through some vegetation and muddy trails during rainy season.

Sami was the best guide ever, he put a lot of effort in show me many things. He has the most important thing that a job needs, love for what you are doing.

My tour guide was Sammy and he was awesome.Sammy was very knowledgeable about the tea plantations and their history, I got a very insightful information about the types of wild life and plants that live in the area as well. On top of the plantations and ecosystem, he has given me insights on the types of medical herbs that are grown in the area and the history behind it.The hike itself was amazing, I was able to see the beautiful rolling hills of munnar and walk through the tea plantations. We also climbed two mountains with waterfalls and a full view of the area.The difficulty of the lakshmi hill hike I'd say was easy with steeps.

We did a full day of hiking in Lakshmi hills in early April, and we had the most amazing time. The views were breathtaking all the way, I’ve never seen anything like it. Our guide, Mr. Vijayn, was fantastic. Super knowledgeable, kind and attentive. He gave us lots of interesting information about the area, both historically and today, as well well as showing us what species of flora and fauna were found around us. The packed lunch and snacks were delicious. We are not in super fit shape, and the 6 hours of hiking were tiring, but absolutely worth it. The price is also very reasonable. We did this on day 15 of our trip to India, and it was definitely our best experience so far. I recommend anyone interested in hiking in the Munnar area to choose this company!

We had a fantastic hike with our guide, King Raja. He provided fascinating explanations about the local flora and their various benefits. He also gave a concise and clear overview of the history of the tea plantations. After the tea fields, we embarked on a mountain hike, which he guided excellently. At the summit, he treated us to tea and a homemade snack—it was delicious! If you truly want to walk through the tea plantations and learn everything there is to know about them, you simply must book this tour.
