Fantastic Tour!
Traveled in roomy comfortable 16 van with competent driver. The tour guide was knowledgeable and funny. There was plenty of time provided at each stop. Lots of restroom breaks provided. The hotel in Belfast was modern and luxurious with a wonderful breakfast buffet provided as part of stay. The tour guide at pickup in Dublin walked us onto the train to our seats and explained how and where we would be met in Belfast. The man who met us at the station in Belfast walked us to the nearby hotel and gave us advice about where to eat. I received more than one message about exactly where to meet the tour guide for the bus trip to the Giant’s Causeway. Upon return to Belfast Station, the tour guide Paul walked us onto the train and pointed out the seats reserved for our group. He then rode the train with us back to Dublin. He walked us out to where we could get a taxi. Overall, a fantastic tour that I heartily recommend.

A wonderful day out with spectacular scenery. Our guide on the train was John, a lovely man who really knew his stuff and went out of his way to help us. The train was very comfortable, as was the bus from Killarney around the Ring. I don't know how our driver, Denis, drove around those bends on narrow roads and kept us amused and informed at the same time. Even the weather was kind to us! All in all, I would love to do another tour with Railtours Ireland another time. Mary Townsend.

Our trip was exceptionally well planned. On day one, we explored Bunratty Castle, the Burren and the breathtaking Cliffs of Moher before arriving in Galway, where we were introduced to our guide for the next day - Anthony O'Connell.Anthony met us the following morning with incredible patience, positivity, and good humour. Day two took us through the stunning Connemara region and to the magnificent Kylemore Abbey. During our brief time together, we enjoyed wonderful conversations that covered just about everything and anything. He was an absolute pleasure to spend time with and went above and beyond to ensure we stayed on schedule, never lost our way, and returned in plenty of time for our journey home.A huge thank you and well-deserved shout-out to Anthony for making our experience so enjoyable and stress-free. His warmth, professionalism, and genuine care left a lasting impression. We even made plans to catch up for a coffee the next time I'm visiting Galway, which says everything about the kind of person he is.

Great tour!
JJ was the best-kind, considerate, driver and guide with wonderful stories along the way. He seemed to really love his job and he’s so good at it. The B&B was very nice. This tour is a great way to see a lot in a short amount of time. We wish we had made it a 3 day tour. We would always choose to leave the driving to Paddywagon rather than driving ourselves.

We had the best time on our tours. We took 2 tours with this company and they were outstanding. The price was wonderful, and the guides were Amazing. The country is breathtaking and I truly felt at home in their country. The trips are all day, they stop many times for pictures, rest breaks and exploring so if your considering planning a trip, DEFINETLY BOOK WITH PADDYWAGON TOURS. I will do it again on my next time i return. Def worth the money that's for sure. Thank you Ireland we had a blast!!!

Excellent 2 day tour to West Ireland
We booked the 2 day tour to Galway (over night stay) and Cliffs of Moher from July 28 - 29, 2026. We had a fabulous time on both days and we are glad to have chosen the 2 day tour rather than the day tour. The hotel accommodation was clean and comfortable. The admission fee to the Cliffs was included in the price of the tour. The crowds were not overwhelming. Initially I was hesitant to book the PaddyWagon tours when I saw how many people it takes but the bus wasn’t full and it was a comfortable ride. The other people on our tours were so friendly - it was a great atmosphere. We especially loved that we got to experience Galway on our own and went to a local pub and met friendly locals. Dinner at Hooked which was incredible and worth the 1 hour wait (we waited at the nearby pub - Cooke’s Thatch Bar - shout out to Peter a friendly local). Danny and Keith were both excellent tour guides. Both tour guides were funny and easy going. I especially love how Danny gave us a detailed history of Ireland specifically on the famine as we drove towards the Cliffs of Moher and the famine walls. He is an amazing story teller. Keith and Danny both did a fantastic job checking in on everyone and making sure guests were accounted for and comfortable. They were clear with giving directions on how long breaks were and what time to be back to remain on schedule. They both had a great sense of humour and appreciate the jokes and story telling throughout the rides. We appreciate them both and would be happy to have either of them as our next tour guide when we take our 2 day trip to Northern Ireland on July 1 - 2, 2026. I have celiac disease and I was happy to see that the hotel breakfast and lunch stops accommodate gluten free guests. I especially loved the cabbage salad at lunch after the Cliffs of Moher /thank you to the chef for sharing the recipe! Overall, we are happy with the tour and will recommend to PaddyWagon Tours to our friends and family going to visit Ireland.

Fantastic tour, moves quickly but our guide Paul O'Neil was terrific moving us ahead in all transportation and ticketing situations. He had great recommendations for food and drink and was meticulous accounting for people, seeing all the sights, and explaining things. All the transfers among rail and coach were taken care of. We didn't have to spend time figuring out the administration of our trip.

Wow! Our family was speechless after taking this tour. Our guide was very informative and very professional.The owner was in communication before the tour and provided hotel and dining recommendations in Galway for our stay. We even received videos after the tour of the sheep in the road!We toured castles, abbeys, villages, scenic sites, the Cliffs of Moher and even found time to stop and feed sheep! They’d tour had EVERYTHING!The vehicle was very clean and provided plenty of room for four people. Why ride in an overcrowded bus, when you can ride in air conditioned comfort with plenty of room for people to share. The tour company even provided snacks and water throughout the journey. Nothing was missed, every detail was thought of. The communication before, during and after the tour was fantastic. Our children even said that this was the best tour they were ever on! We have already told our friends and family to book this tour when visiting Ireland.Thank you for making this a memorable vacation!

This is the best way to see this beautiful country! We started the tour with Norman, who was truly the best introduction to the Irish railway system. You could see immediately how passionate he is about his job and the culture. Then, our tour guide in Kerry, John, was both knowledgable and thoughtful. Both Norman and John made us feel safe and provided detailed information about our trip. Our only suggestion for travelers is to pack light. While the accommodation in Killarney was excellent, you may not have much room on the bus/train.
