Our driver and tour guide were fantastic! Both had great knowledge of Copenhagen and gave us a delightful tour. The van was very roomy, clean and comfortable for four larger people. Enjoyed all the stops we made, including the delicious bakery! Thank you for a great day in Copenhagen!

I was on tour with Laura and I had such a blast! I’ve been living in Copenhagen myself for a while and actually recently started working as a tour guide myself, so I was interested in seeing if there was more to learn myself. And yes, there was! Learned some cool new facts, stories and saw some more hidden parts of Copenhagen! The group size was perfect, everything felt very personal and I loved the little coffee stop as well;)

Laura, the local guide, was very knowledgeable and friendly. She adjusted the pace to fit all the people on the tour. She took us round some interesting historic back streets as well as showing us the changing of the guard at one of the royal palaces. Well worth the cost of the tour.

Vinod, the proprietor was a great host eager to provide a great experience. We booked a private tour and it was a comfortable experience we all enjoyed. We were able to enjoy each stop at our leisure. Highly recommend!

Luis was an excellent tour guide and Lars was an excellent driver!! I have a leg injury and Lars was incredibly helpful and accommodating. He helped me in and out of the van and parked very close to the sites or drove to where we were standing so I could minimize me steps! Luis made sure we didn't stand for very long and imparted a lot of information inside the van. He provided a lot of information about the Danish culture, way of life as well as historical facts. Both men were exceptionally nice, polite, patient, communicative and timely!! I plan to use them every time we come back to visit Copenhagen!! I highly recommend this team!!

Our Faroe Islands trip was truly unforgettable, and a big part of that was thanks to our wonderful guides — Helle, Borgfrið and Andras.They were friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely passionate about sharing their beautiful country. Their stories about Faroese history, culture, and local life made every stop even more meaningful.As a senior traveler, I really appreciated their kindness and patience. They always made me feel comfortable and never rushed me during the walks. I felt well looked after throughout the trip.The Faroe Islands are breathtaking, but having guides like Helle, Borgfrið and Andras made the experience even more special. Highly recommended.

We were first-time SUPers and very much enjoyed this course. Michael, the instructor, is friendly and patient, explained everything really well, brought a lot of equipment which we could test and is fluent in several languages (German, English). The location is beautiful and idyllic, perfect for a first SUP experience. Highly recommended!!

Wonderful day in a cozy little group. We visited incredibly beautiful places and our guide told us a lot about the history of the Faroe Islands. We also saw puffins.

Our Mykines Private Hike and Tour Adventure booked with Experience Faroe Islands was fantastic. A great tour starts with a great guide and our guide, Hans was wonderful. Patient & kind, Hans was also very knowledgeable and eager to share all things Faroe Islands. As a native Faroese, Hans embodied the spirit of the islands. Pickup from Hotel Hafnia was prompt at 12:15 (the morning ferry was fully booked). We were able to book the 1:30 ferry. The drive to the Vágar Island ferry terminal provided views of the stunning Faroe countryside. We passed by deep fiords and high cliffs with waterfalls cascading down to form streams which lead to the fiords. Ferry ride to Mykines was 45 minutes and pretty smooth. I’m prone to seasickness but did not suffer on either trip. Along the way we saw towering sea stacks, dramatic rock formations & more waterfalls. From the Mykines ferry terminal we climbed stairs and walked through the old village. There is a free public toilet in the village center. We began the ascent to the puffin colony following the milder incline along a ridge. On the way we saw more spectacular views of Mykines and the surrounding coast. The hills have many grazing Faroese sheep which climb to great heights. Shepherds have dangerous work gathering them. When we reached the puffin colony it was well worth the hike. Hundreds of nesting puffins, many were only a few feet away. We were advised to stay 6 ft away from the puffins and not to enter their burrow nest areas. It was a great experience standing in such close proximity to the little guys. My wife took many photos and she was extremely happy. We walked a short distance further to a memorial plaque. From there we had the option to hike further up to the viewpoint and chance to see even more puffins. My son with autism had anxieties about further climbing so we chose to walk down the return route to the village. This route was more steep than the ascent but we managed. We enjoyed Katrin’s fish soup in the cafe and returned to the ferry terminal. The 6:15 ferry (last of the day) returned us to Vagar just after 7 and Hans returned us to the Hafnia around 8 pm. This tour gave our family a lifetime of great memories. I highly recommend it.Footnote: Hans returned to our hotel to to give our son a Faroese mountain rock from his personal collection. What a kind gesture. Thank you, Hans
