Top Central Pacific Fishing

Booked 3 hour trip which was perfect. We caught tuna, grouper, sea bass and rock fish. My grandsons loved it. I will book again when we return to Costa Rica.

My friend and I visited Jason Tours in October and did a 6 hour inshore trip. We had a FANTASTIC day with captain Emillio. We caught a variety of fish with a variety of different techniques. Fish species included, Yellowfin Tuna, Dog Tooth Tuna, Broomtail Grouper, Amberjack, Roosterfish, Barracuda, and Jack Crevalle. The lunch was good and cold drinks on board was a bonus! It was a great experience!

I’ve fished with Jason CR Fishing Charters before and have always had a great experience. Reputable company, good solid boat. We did the 3 hour tour and that was plenty of time to get some good fish. Jason is very nice, easy to coordinate with over email, and runs a good, reliable operation. This time we had a different captain—he was a solid fisherman and clearly knew what he was doing, though not particularly friendly or welcoming. That said, we caught fish, which was the goal, and had a good day on the water. Overall, a good experience!

So 1st off I want to say I’m an experienced fishing captain in Alaska, and I’ve been out fishing with several different tours in Costa Rica over the last several years. Our recent trip with Miguel was by far the best. They were absolutely professional and very experienced, it was a great success and very reasonable. We usually stay at Roma Del Mar casa 21 best views and accommodations in Costa Rica then drive over early morning to fish. I will absolutely book with them again !! Can’t wait to go out and catch more !

Beautiful views, caught a little tuna and a huge Roosterfish (catch and release). Family struggles a bit with motion sickness so we cut it short, still a great time.

We had a very fun afternoon !! we knew the weather was complicated, but despite everything we could see whales, fish and have a good time, excellent care.We've already said we'll be back!!

Great fishing trip! The guide, Erik, was very knowledgeable. We caught a bunch of skipjack tuna, a yellow fin tuna, and I reeled in a Rooster! Awesome day on the boat. They cleaned it for us after and we ate like kings and queens that night.

Jason Tours was great to work with and our guide David put us on more fish than some of my crew could handle. I would definitely book with them again.

Our morning with Jason was incredibly efficient! He put us right on the fish and we landed 4 of the 5 bites in just over an hour of fishing including once when we had two fish on at the same time only to lose one to a shark that took our hooked fish! A couple of the kids got a bit nauseous on the water so we headed in after a shortened trip. Loved having fresh fish all week so during our trip in Costa Rica! The wahoo sashimi and ceviche were the best!

Great trip, great experience! Definately worth the money. We got like 5 big tunas that we could keep.
