Top Cefalù Dining Experiences

Unique, authentic Sicilian experience. All of our family enjoyed it and the hosts were exceptional! Was a lovely time and we got to see areas off the beaten track. The food was amazing. One of the best things we did when we were in Sicily!

This was the most memorable experience of our trip to Cefalu. Great fun going off road to see the sunset from high, and then on to the chalet for an amazing BBQ and wine. Emmanuele and his wife were great hosts and made the whole experience amazing. Also shared the evening with another family who were great company. Worth every penny.

A wonderful lunch and afternoon spent with Graziella and Anna as they cooked (and I helped, or was hindered? :-) ) a delicious Sicilian menu with accompanying wine. Beautiful views out over the bay towards Palermo on a sunny afternoon. If you love food, wine and great company this is a must! Grazie mille ad entrambi

When one thinks of a cooking lesson in Italy, you may visualize it taking place in a charming kitchen. This experience from the moment we arrived was, as they say in Italy, was senza parola (without words or speechless)! Viviana greeted us at the gate and showed us to her beautiful garden overlooking the sea with her table set like something out of a movie! We met her husband and enjoyed a glass of wine. They were so warm and welcoming to us. Viviana presented us with her menu. We went into her kitchen where we joined her at the table preparing her selections. Afterwards, we sat outside together and enjoyed great wine, food and experienced a bit of la dolce vita!

Views were beautiful and the tour guy was the friendliest guy I’ve ever met. He had beautiful dogs and the bbq itself was the best I’ve ever had. If I ever come back to Sicily this guy will be the first person i message. Everything was beautiful and very very enjoyable. Again thank you so much was the highlight of our trip!! Ps. you have the best music taste :)

Take a moment to step back from the commercial tourism and the hustle and bustle of the resorts and experience something truly unique and special. Emanuele is clearly passionate and connected to his environment. By far our best night in Sicily. We were lucky to have a lovely sunset to start the evening followed by the most delicious simple food cooked brilliantly, served with the best wine we’ve had all week. He was a perfect host and the chalet a magical setting to enjoy the experience and the stars. Would give 10 stars if we could.

Emanuele was a superb host. He was very informative, courteous and honest. The drive and scenery were excellent. The food and entire BBQ experience was perfect. This is not a touristy, shallow experience. This is the real deal. Bravo!!

We found another very unique experience, this time on Cool Destinations. It’s called “Sunset with BBQ Jeep Excursions” and we really loved it! Our terrific host/driver/cook Emanuele picked us up right on time and we headed up the mountain to the Madonie Regional Natural Park on a bumpy and scenic ride to the rustic chalet. There we met his two extremely happy dogs Rain and Ozzie. Emmanuel shared stories, prepared our appetizers, and cooked our incredible local pork (bacon, chop, and sausage). It was barbecued perfectly and tasted incredible. We socialized for hours and had a nighttime ride back down to town, avoiding the cows and wild pigs along the way. Special thanks to Emanuele for a very extraordinary evening!

We were fortunate to be the only 2 people to the tour the day we went so Emanuele could give us a one-on-one experience. I'm sure he would be equally good with a group. It's quite a ride up the mountain but well worth the trip. BBQ on a wood fire was excellent, with wine, etc. What a tour!

Emanuele was a terrific host for the evening. From the prompt hotel pick up to cooking and serving us dinner with a smile, he truly loves entertaining and hosting. We had a relaxing evening driving the coast of Sicily talking about the culture and of course the views from 500m up a mountain! Very nice time. Emanuele is a gentlemen. We suggest this excursion for a simple quiet evening.

Good communication, pickup on time. An adventurous off road trip, Emanuel tells all about nature and the animals , he is a true nature lover with a passion for food like many Italians😉🇮🇹. Later we had a great BBQ , anti pasti and drinks outside the cabin in the mountains arranged by Vincenzo and Emanuel. We also love his two dogs Rain and Ozzie. What a view! I definitely recommend this tour if you don't want to miss a breathtaking sunset on Cefalù from Motta d'Affermo and the view on the Eolian archipelago. The expertise and friendliness of Emanuele and the driver makes it effortless to explore the local flora and fauna and enjoy a tasty BBQ with local products and wine, while still making new memories with your plus one(s).
