Tomaz was at Hotel Kompas Bled and shared a medieval presentation with our family. Tomaz was engaging and knowledgeable for both kids and adults! We enjoyed the hands on experience- touching and holding weapons, chain mail, and furs. The adults even got to shoot a bow! We will remember Tomaz answering all of our questions so generously!

We hired bikes and did a self-guided tour, with 2 nights just out of Bled, 3 nights in Kranska Gora and 5 nights in the Dolomites. The bikes we hired were awesome - Specialised Venge gravel bikes - very safe, light and great for climbing! They were in great condition and Grega gave us everything else we needed - helmets, locks, pumps, tyre levers, spare tubes etc. The transfers were awesome and the accommodation was great!

Mellow but fun rafting experience
Wonderful trip down the dolinka sava river. The company is very professional. After a quick bus ride upstream we got a 90 to 105 minute trip downriver. Don’t expect a massive adrenaline rush (although there is plenty of white water), this is more a family level rafting experience. The guides make it fun though. Our guide Ziga did an excellent job. The scenery is stunning, we had a somewhat overcast day but the fog lying on the river made the experience very special. Highly recommend.

My husband and I loved this walk. It was perfect and away from the tourist crowd. Promo was a fabulous guide with lots of local knowledge and very patient waiting whilst we took photos and stopped for a breath. The scenery was fantastic! I would recommend this for anyone visiting lake Bled wanting to escape the tourists for a couple of hours. I'd say moderate fitness as some parts challenging but my husband and I are 50 and managed this with a little challenge but not too much. Great start to our day.

Hayley was a great tour manager, Newmarket Holidays had organised a great tour with interesting options for free days. The Hotel Kompas was clean and comfortable (although bedrooms were a little too warm). Christmas Day at the Castle was magical.
