Top Baltimore Escape Games

Very fun, and well designed experience! The outdoor element add something very nice to the traditional escape room format. It's a great way to get active, activate your brain, learn new things, and HAVE FUN!!! If you're looking for something fun to do in b-more, this is it!Could be considered walk-intensive for some, but since you go at your own pace, I don't think many will find an issue. Flat walking for the most part.

This was a blast - and so clever! We took our 13 year old grandson and 2 of his friends. They all loved it, and were able to successfully complete it. The game is challenging; you follow clues from the app on your phone and from other materials provided in the box. But, the clues then need to be interpreted and figured out - as I said challenging! We walked for more than 4 miles, and it took us about 2-2.5 hours with only a short stop for a cold drink.In Baltimore, where we did this, we were instructed to begin at a local restaurant which turned out not to be on the course where we tracked down clues. This was a 'perk' the restaurant got for holding on to and distributing the game boxes to players. But, given the length of this we didn't like adding extra time and walking. I don't know if there is a way around this as the company needs someone local to distribute game boxes. I made some suggestions for Baltimore as to where players should be instructed to park (close to the first clue), but understand that this may not be workable to continue to have a way for the company to have boxes for pick up.You will use your cell phone throughout this game, so be sure to start with a full charge.We had so much fun that we already have plans to do this with our friends in another city.Communication was great and it was nice to hear from the owner of the company. She was clearly interested in hearing what we thought about this experience.If you like puzzles and escape rooms I think you will really enjoy this, we sure did!

We came to Baltimore on Mother’s Day to play escape the city in the Inner harbor with the whole family (7 of us. 15,18,23,26,27,52 and 53yo) we had SUCH a great time. The day itself was gorgeous but the game made site seeing so much more fun! The adult kids especially liked it and are planning more cities with their friends. We did really well as expert escape room players. It was very challenging but we were able to finish with no hints in about 2 hours. Very very fun day!

Super fun stroll around the Inner Harbor with interesting clues to solve. You can take as much or no time in the shops along the way (shoutout Matriarch Coffee) as the game is not timed. Highly recommend!

Some very clever surprises in this box, and it was a great way to see some great spots around Inner Harbor! Nice length at less than two hours, although it was a little hard to find what we were supposed to look for next. The plot was cheesy but fun, too!

This was a fun experience! We have lived in Baltimore and our friend from out of town found this game for when she came to visit. It took us about 3 hours of game play but we stopped in between for lunch. It was hard to get the first step (before clues) and one of the clues doesn't seem to be good anymore. But otherwise the clues were good and hints helped when we needed.

It was so much fun. The clues were not too hard and not too easy. It was nice that it wasn't timed so we could take a break for lunch. We will definitely do another one.

Loved the interactive experience. Great way to see the Inner Harbor for new(er) visitors. Excellent activity for a family or 3-5 friends - a group provides enough differing perspectives to brainstorm the clues!

Fun with very clever twists. Only downside is that National Aquarium changed signs making that one aspect impossible to solve.

It was a nice challenging experience for us, we chose the difficult level and indeed was difficult. It took us around the inner harbor we were challenged enough, the box with the clues that was given to us is quite clever and helpful. The game took us to places that i didn’t even know there were at the inner harbor

Super fun! Definitely want to plan on doing it on a warm day! We had 4 people and really had to put our heads together! I wouldn’t recommend with small children.

We got lucky with the weather on New Year's Eve! It was a beautiful day to walk around the Inner Harbor. We had a mixed generation group from teenagers to grandpa and everyone was engaged. The puzzles were a wide range of difficulties, from ones that jumped right out at us to one that had us stumped for 20 minutes or so and everything in between. The skills needed to solve the puzzles were variable as well so different people in the family could shine with different puzzles. Although there was walking, it was pretty short between each stop (the longest walk was back to the car from the end). I enjoyed the different ways the things at the puzzle location were used to solve the puzzle. It was a great experience all around. I'm looking forward to doing these in other locations we visit!

My extended family loves to do escape rooms when we get together, so we decided to Escapely a try over the holidays - no regrets! The game was really well-designed and made for a super fun day. We all agreed the difficulty level was just right - a good range of puzzles from easy to medium, and then the final puzzle took us a while to crack (we finally resorted to one hint). It was a bonus that the overall value was great - it felt like a bargain spending about $60 for this versus $160 for an indoor escape room (usually about $20pp x 8 of us) and this experience was multiple hours instead of just one. Great experience!

I completed this Escape Room as a team-building activity with my work colleagues. We all had so much fun figuring out the puzzles and exploring the city. The difficulty level felt appropriate and there were several items that left us a bit stumped (but luckily there are clues to help you along the way if you need them). The box cleverly incorporates city landmarks into an overall fun and mind-stimulating activity. I would highly recommend this and it lead me to purchase the Washington DC (Adam's Morgan) Escape Room which I did with personal friends and was just as enjoyable!
