He is professional and on time to start the tour and is flexible as needed.Some attractions have a fee now like the Roman Baths so be prepared to have enough cash on hand as they only take cash (it was about 505.50 turkish lira for 3 people). My family and I like history so we enjoyed the history behind the baths.

Had a great time with tour guide Hakan. Hakan is friendly, enthusiastic, and very knowledgeable. My parents had a great time too. The museum and castle is a steep hike up, be prepared. Ankara has a great historical significance to modern Turkey and old Anatolia. Trip to the Ataturk Mausoleum is a must. Hakan was flexible with itinerary and went above and beyond to make the experience enjoyable. He is an excellent tour guide. 10/10

The trip was wonderful. Being at the site, you get a completely different feeling of the Hittite history. Our guide, Aysegul (sorry I don’t have Turkish keyboard) , was wonderful. The included meals were simple yet delicious. My wife, a picky eater, finished the whole thing. For anyone who is interested in Hittite history, this is a must.

The tour was good but the price did not include transportation between the sites. I had to pay extra which I think is not correct.

Mr Ertug was a wonderful guide, and this tour through Ankara was more than a pleasurable experience. He gave me all the historical facts about the places we visited, and he explained them so eloquently. I can't recommend it more; it was a fun and positive experience.

We had a 3 hour drive there and gained almost 700 meters in elevation. Magnificent views, good driver and knowledgeable guide. Terrific lunch stop.

I scheduled this tour of Hattusa through the Cool Destinations website. I was traveling in Turkey as a solo female traveler and without a rental car, so I wanted to find a way to visit Hattusa safely and easily. Public transport options might be available, but they were difficult to find and ascertain any schedules for buses or otherwise ahead of time (and taking a taxi all the way from Ankara to Hattusa would be expensive as well as a little concerning for a solo female traveler). Scheduling a guided tour of the site seemed to me the best way to get myself there as well as learn a lot from a professional. It turned out to be a wonderful decision, as I felt completely safe and happy the entire day from the start to the end of the tour and definitely got far more out of it than I expected.I had a private tour with a guide and a driver in a very nice vehicle. My guide, Tayfun, was excellent - very knowledgeable and so friendly and kind. It was wonderful to get to meet him and talk with him about the ancient history of Hattusa and Yazilikaya, and - although it was not a standard stop on the tour - he also took me to a third site, Alacahoyuk, which was such a wonderful surprise. He also gave me a lot of great advice on other places to see in the region, museums and mosques to see in Ankara, and even contacted other tour guides in other cities to try to help me set up transportation for some other archaeological sites I had planned on visiting. I had an absolutely wonderful time, and I can certainly recommend my tour guide and driver to anyone wanting to time travel to the Hittite Empire. :)

We had a wonderful tour of Ankara with Ertuğ (Ankara Tour Guide). We learned so much about Atatürk during our visit to the mausoleum, and even when there was a small schedule change due to visiting dignitaries, he handled everything with flexibility and professionalism. He answered all of our questions about ancient history, recent events, and current affairs in Turkey, and we truly came away with a much deeper understanding. We also loved visiting the old town, seeing the city walls and a 16th-century mosque still in use, and he even helped us bargain at a local nut shop. Overall, an excellent experience — highly recommended!

Good. But the visit was contracted with a guide in Spanish. And the guide spoke English, no Spanish. Otherwise, fine.
