We visited the Cashel folk/ war of independence museum on Saturday, 2 adults and 2 kids. Cashel is such a beautiful town but I was so impressed by the collection of artefacts in the folk museum. Such a wonderful gem! We have visited all the historical sites in the south east and further a field but this little spot has so much heart and dedication to maintaining our amazing history and our link to the past. Bernard was not there but his daughter Shanon did a great job! We were made feel so welcome and that rare true love and obsession with Irish history hits you when you walk in the door. We recently visited the Epic centre in Dublin… with all its technology etc but this little museum blows it out of the water!! I highly recommend a visit and I can’t wait to go back. Thank you so much for keeping our history alive 💚

We really appreciated Maggie our guide, she was very knowledgeable. It was a shame our tour did not include the chapel on the rock. But otherwise great

We all learned so much from this tour about Cashel, Ireland history, the Rock, and Tipperary. This was one of our favorite experiences across our two week journey of Ireland. I would highly recommend!

Allow more time than the 2-1/2 hours stated. The historical museum was amazing. We ended up being rushed at the end because we had to get to the castle. When we got to the castle they said no hurry, you can go in any tour at no specific time. It’s a great tour and lots of historical facts that will prove almost everything you thought was accurate isn’t!

Maggie is truly a bucket of sunshine, making the experience both educational and incredibly fun.The views are breathtaking, the ruins inspiring, and the tales unforgettable. A couple of tips: bring comfortable walking shoes for the cobblestones and steps, and a rain jacket—Irish weather likes to keep you on your toes!This tour was a highlight of my trip to Ireland and I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Cashel.

John Cash was an informative, engaging, and very kind tour guide. The town and the Rock are so full of important history and John brings it all to life. He was helpful in recommending and walking us to a great lunch spot afterwards, took group photos, and was just a delight. The folk museum as part of this tour is another must-see. Thank you!!

Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and gave us great insight on the history of the Rock , we enjoyed it very much, our stop at the folklore museum blew our minds, the artifacts Bernard has collected is unbelievable and with his knowledge bought back a huge understanding of the past
